Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump cho biết ông sẽ sớm công bố biên bản một cuộc điện đàm với Tổng thống Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky chứng minh rằng danh hiệu “tổng thống minh bạch nhất trong lịch sử” đối với ông là chuẩn.

Tổng thống Trump tuyên bố ông sẽ tung ra cuộc điện đàm đầu tiên với ông Zelensky trong tuần này và cho biết cuộc hội thoại này quan trọng hơn cuộc điện đàm thứ 2 hôm 25/7, cuộc tṛ chuyện hiện đang là tâm điểm trong cuộc điều tra luận tội do Hạ viện Mỹ tiến hành.

“Để tiếp tục là tổng thống minh bạch nhất trong lịch sử, tôi sẽ công bố biên bản cuộc gọi số 1, đồng thời là cuộc điện đàm quan trọng nhất giữa tôi và ông Zelensky”, ông Trump viết trên Twitter cá nhân hôm 11/11.

Ông Trump điện đàm lần đầu với ông Zelensky một thời gian ngắn sau khi ông Zelensky đắc cử tổng thống Ukraine hồi tháng 4.

Từ tuần trước, ông Trump đă hé lộ ông sẵn sàng công khai biên bản cuộc gọi hồi tháng 4 với nhà lănh đạo Ukraine và mong muốn các bên đọc văn bản này và chỉ ra xem liệu nó có ǵ bất thường hay không.

Tuy nhiên, cuộc gọi đang gây “sóng gió” cho ông Trump tại chính trường Mỹ là cuộc hội thoại hôm 25/7 đă được Nhà Trắng công bố vào tháng 9. Tổng thống Mỹ bị cáo buộc đă gây áp lực cho Ukraine để mở cuộc điều tra cha con đối thủ Joe Biden, ứng viên sáng giá hàng đầu cho cuộc bầu cử tổng thống năm sau của đảng Dân chủ. Hạ viện Mỹ dự kiến trong tuần này sẽ bắt đầu các phiên điều trần công khai luận tội ông Trump.

Ông Trump bác bỏ mọi cáo buộc nói rằng ông đă sử dụng quyền lực tổng thống để đạt được lợi ích về mặt chính trị. Ông khẳng định không làm ǵ sai và gọi cuộc điện đàm với ông Zelensky là “hoàn hảo”.

Hiện thời, Hạ viện do đảng Dân chủ dẫn đầu vẫn đang công bố các biên bản lời khai kín của các quan chức, cựu quan chức chính phủ Mỹ và các nhân vật có liên quan tới vụ việc.

Tuần trước, ông Gordon Sondland, Đại sứ Mỹ tại Liên minh châu Âu, thừa nhận ông đă nói với một quan chức Ukraine rằng gói viện trợ quân sự gần 400 triệu USD của Washington cho Kiev sẽ không được chi chừng nào Ukraine đồng ư mở cuộc điều tra theo mong muốn của Tổng thống Trump.
