Tổng thống Donald Trump đã tweet một lời chế giễu về cựu Phó Tổng thống Joe Biden hôm Chủ nhật sau khi Bắc Hàn gọi ứng cử viên tổng thống của đảng Dân chủ là “con chó dại”.

Trump nói trên Twitter, “Ông chủ tịch (Kim Jong un), Joe Biden là ‘Biden ngủ gật‘ và rất chậm, nhưng ông không phải là một ‘con chó dại’.”

Tổng thống đã tiếp tục mô tả mối quan hệ cá nhân của ông với Kim theo hướng tích cực mặc dù bế tắc trong các cuộc đàm phán hạt nhân.

Trump lặp lại tình cảm đó vào Chủ nhật, thúc giục Kim “hành động nhanh chóng, hoàn thành thỏa thuận”.

“Hẹn sớm gặp lại!” Trump nói thêm.

Ngược lại, Biden là mục tiêu thường xuyên của những lời lăng mạ của Trump.

Mối thù của Trump với Biden là trung tâm của cuộc điều tra luận tội về tổng thống , sau khi người tố giác tố cáo chính quyền Trump có yêu cầu Ukraine điều tra cựu phó tổng thống và con trai ông để đổi lấy viện trợ quân sự của Mỹ hay không.

Truyền thông nhà nước của Bắc Hàn KCNA hôm thứ Sáu đả kích ông Biden là con chó dại có thể làm bị thương nhiều người nếu chạy lung tung, và cần phải đánh chết bằng gậy.

Hành động diễn ra hai tuần sau khi ông Biden, người cũng đang chạy đua vào Tòa bạch Ốc năm 2020, đưa ra tuyên bố chỉ trích chính sách Bắc Hàn của Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump và gọi nhà lãnh đạo Bắc Hàn Kim Jong Un là “kẻ độc tài tàn bạo”.
