Hãng Foxconn sản xuất iphone cho Apple thông báo, sẽ xây nhà máy sản xuất iphone với tổng vốn đầu tư lên tới 7 tỷ USD và tạo 50 000 chỗ làm mới. Chủ tịch Foxconn ông Terry Gou nói với truyền thông, hãng sẽ sản xuất cả smart TV cho Apple tại Mỹ. Hiện nay nước Mỹ không còn nhà máy sản xuất TV mặc dù là thị trường tiêu thụ lớn nhất nhì thế giới.


Tổng thống Trump vô cùng phấn khởi với tin trên, trước đó hàng loạt hãng sản xuất đã quay trở lại Mỹ như Ford, Toyota. Hai hãng xe hơi sẽ xây nhà máy tại Mỹ thay vì chuyển đi nước ngoài bởi vì lo sợ sẽ bị ông Trump đánh thuế cao.



Ông Trump trong một lần vì quá tức giận đã ném hết các điện thoại di động hãng Apple đi do hãng này sản xuất hàng tại Trung Quốc.




Một lần khác ông Trump lại dọa bán hết cổ phiếu Apple nếu hãng này không chịu ra điện thoại màn hình lớn. Không lâu sau ông nói đã bán hết cổ phiếu APPLE !!!

1) The iphone has > 50 components

2) If iphone was made in the US, the cost to transport these components to the US would greatly increase the cost. But would it still be made in the US? Obviously, all of this before considering the potential tariffs and or value added taxes as proposes by Trump and his team.

3) Can Apple fabricate these components? In short, no because of patents and legal issues!

4) Even if Apple can get cooperative agreements with these other component manufactures, fab plants take time and cost. Who would pay for the capital cost? But the crux of the issue is computer and robotic automation in the majority of these fab plants. Thus, blue collar job formation will be minimal. The in demand and high paying created jobs will require education greater than the average Trump supporters have attained.

5) Debatable, but currently, the US market is number one. 20+ years from now, the Chinese market will easily eclipsed the US. As the saying goes, timing is everything! Will Trump cause the US to go into hiding?
