Trump said, "They’re still counting the (2024 election) vote in some areas."

He gave the impression that two months after Election Day, ballots are still being tabulated in the presidential race. That’s not happening.

States certified their results by December, and Congress accepted the Electoral College results the day before Trump made this claim.

Some state and local races remain under litigation, but that is not the same as counting ballots.

The United States is the only country with unrestricted birthright citizenship.

Trump said that the U.S. is the only country in the world to have unrestricted birthright citizenship.

This is incorrect. Around three dozen other countries offer automatic citizenship to children born within their borders, regardless of their parents’ immigration status.

The U.S. House Select Committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol “deleted and destroyed all of the information that they collected over two years.”

The committee publicly released an 845-page report, more than 100 transcripts of testimony, memos, depositions and documents. Much of the committee’s work remains available online.

The committee didn’t release videos of witness interviews that members said contained "law enforcement sensitive operational details" and information that could have endangered witnesses. The committee said its actions complied with House rules.
