Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump hôm 21/10 nói rằng rằng việc trở thành tổng thống đă khiến ông mất từ 2 tỷ đến 5 tỷ USD mà ông đă có thể thu được nếu tiếp tục công việc kinh doanh của ḿnh thay v́ tham gia chính trường. Tuy nhiên, ông Trump đưa ra tuyên bố mà không có bằng chứng.

Ông Trump nói với các phóng viên rằng: “Nếu phải làm lại một lần nữa th́ tôi vẫn sẽ làm ngay lập tức, bởi v́ ai mà quan tâm, nếu bạn có đủ khả năng th́ nó có ǵ khác biệt?”

Không có bằng chứng nào cho thấy ông Trump mất hàng tỷ đô la kể từ khi ông trở thành tổng thống. Tài sản ṛng trị giá 3,1 tỷ USD của ông không thay đổi so với năm ngoái, theo thống kê của tạp chí Forbes công bố hồi tháng 3.

Sau khi ông Trump đưa ra tuyên bố tương tự như vậy hồi tháng 8, Forbes đă b́nh luận rằng “ông Trump sẽ không mất từ 3 tỷ USD đến 5 tỷ USD. Thu nhập của ông ấy không thể đạt đến 3 tỷ USD.”

Trong khi tài sản cá nhân của ông Trump vẫn giữ nguyên trong năm qua, ông đă vượt lên trong danh sách những người giàu nhất thế giới của Forbes khi hàng chục ông trùm bạn bè của ông phải chịu thất bại về tài chính trong khi bất động sản của ông Trump vẫn giữ được giá.

Không giống như các đời tổng thống Mỹ gần đây, ông Trump đă từ chối công khai tờ khai thuế thu nhập và đă đấu tranh với Quốc hội và ṭa án để giữ kín các thông tin tài chính của ḿnh.

Hôm 21/10, ông Trump đă tỏ ra khó chịu khi phải bỏ kế hoạch tổ chức hội nghị thượng đỉnh của Nhóm G7 vào tháng 6 tại khu nghỉ dưỡng và sân golf Doral Quốc gia Trump ở khu vực Miami, Florida.

Kế hoạch của ông tổ chức sự kiện tại khu nghỉ dưỡng Doral đă bị chỉ trích mạnh mẽ từ cả hai đảng Cộng ḥa và Dân chủ. Những người chỉ trích nói rằng họ có ấn tượng như là ông đang tư lợi từ việc trở thành tổng thống.

Ông Trump có một chuỗi các khu nghỉ mát trên khắp thế giới trước khi được bầu làm tổng thống. Các con của ông hầu như đă tiếp quản việc điều hành công việc kinh doanh của gia đ́nh, nhưng ông không từ bỏ quyền sở hữu.

“Dù tôi có mất 2 tỷ đô la, 5 tỷ đô la hay ít hơn, th́ nó cũng không tạo ra sự khác biệt nào. Tôi không quan tâm,” ông Trump nói. “Tôi đang làm điều này cho đất nước. Tôi làm điều này cho mọi người.”

Ông Trump nói rằng ông sẽ tổ chức hội nghị thượng đỉnh G7 tại Doral để không mất khoản chi phí nào cho người nộp thuế ở Mỹ nhưng giờ đây ông sẽ phải t́m địa điểm khác.

Vị tổng thống của Đảng Cộng ḥa phải đối mặt với những lời chỉ trích và một số cuộc điều tra của quốc hội về các nguồn tài chính và xung đột lợi ích tiềm tàng xuất phát từ việc kinh doanh bất động sản của ông cũng như một cuộc điều tra luận tội về những cáo buộc cho rằng ông theo đuổi lợi ích chính trị trong các vụ việc với Ukraine

Vậy th́ chờ ǵ nữa mà ko thoái vị, hoặc là đứa nào cứ oang oang muốn đ̣i làm TT suốt đời ?? kekeke, trí nhớ tớ vẫn c̣n khá tốt, so với trí nhớ súc quần tuột ḷi tiny bu-zi ra, tội lỗi, tội lỗi !
