Một nghị quyết của quốc hội Liên Bang Hoa Kỳ công nhận tháng 4 đen và vinh danh các chiến sĩ Việt Mỹ nhân tưởng niệm 40 năm ngày Quốc Hận. Đây là một chiến thắng lớn của cộng đồng người Việt Quốc Gia sau nhiều năm tháng chiến đấu mệt mỏi. Văn pḥng Quốc Hội Liên Bang Hoa Kỳ từ Thủ Đô Washington D.C. hôm nay đă gởi đến Hội Người Việt Cao Niên Vùng Vịnh Cựu Kim Sơn và Hội Cựu Tù Nhân Chính Trị Bắc California nguyên văn Bản Nghị Quyết Công Nhận Tháng Tư Đen và vinh danh tưởng niệm các chiến sĩ VNCH cùng các chiến binh Hoa Kỳ đă hy sinh cao cả trong cuộc chiến tranh chống csVN để bảo vệ tự do, dân chủ trước ngày 30-4-1975. Bản Nghị Quyết kư ngày 30-4-2015 do Dân Biểu Liên Bang Hoa Kỳ ZOE LOFGREN kư tên.

Xét Rằng: 40 năm trưóc đây, Cộng Sản đă tấn chiếm Saigon, chấm dứt cuộc chiến tranh Việt Nam và thành lập thể chế cai trị của đảng Cộng Sản trên toàn cơi Việt Nam; và



Xét Rằng: Cộng Đồng người Mỹ gốc Việt hàng năm tổ chức buổi tưởng niệm đánh dấu 4o năm ngày Saigon thất thủ và sự chiến đấu và hy sinh anh dũng của rất nhiều người không ngừng nghỉ để bảo vệ cho tự do và hầu giúp các thế hệ tương lai có một cuộc sống tốt đẹp hơn; và



Xét Rằng: Hàng triệu người Việt đă buộc phải ĺa xa quê hương để đi t́m tự do, có hàng ngàn người đă đến đuợc Hoa Kỳ và tại nơi đây những đóng góp thật vô cùng quư báu của họ cho quốc gia của chúng ta. Tôi rất hănh diện được cơ hội là vị đại diện dân cử liên bang của đơn vị có rất đông thành viên của cộng đồng người Mỹ gốc Việt; và



Xét Rằng: Vào ngày Tháng Tư Đen, tất cả chúng ta cùng ngồi lại với nhau để chia sẻ những kinh nghiệm sống và những câu chuyện của những người tỵ nạn Việt Nam để chúng ta trân trọng và ghi nhớ lại quá khứ của họ, đồng thời chúng ta cũng vui mừng với hiện tại và tiếp tục tranh đấu cho những người c̣n đang bị sống trong sự ḱm kẹp và bóp nghẹt tại Việt Nam; và



Xét Rằng: Cộng Đồng Người Mỹ gốc Việt và tôi luôn ghi ơn, tưởng nhớ những chiến sĩ của miền Nam Việt Nam và các chiến sĩ Hoa Kỳ đă anh dũng bảo vệ cho dân chủ, nhân quyền cho Việt Nam. Cuộc chiến đấu này vẫn chưa chấm dứt.

Bà Dân Biểu Liên Bang Zoe Lofgren sinh ng ày 21-12-1947, đă đắc cử và hoạt động liên tiếp trong Hạ Viện Hoa Kỳ từ năm 1995. Bà là thành viên cao cấp trong Ủy Ban Điều Hành Quốc Hội, kiêm Trưởng các Tiểu Ban Giám Sát và Tiểu Ban Chính Sách về Di Trú và Thực thi pháp luật.


Là một cư dân vùng Vịnh bắc California, thủa thiếu thời bà Zoe Lofgren đă theo học trường High School tại Palo Alto và tham gia tổ chức học sinh trẻ Junior State of America trong các chương tŕnh tranh luận, vận động chính trị, hoạt động thăng tiến học đường. Bà tốt nghiệp Thạc sĩ tại đại học nỗi tiếng Stanfortnăm 1970 và tốt nghiệp tại Trường Đại học Luật ở Santa Clara năm 1975. Bà lập gia đ́nh với chồng là John Marshall Collins vào năm 1978 và làm việc tại văn pḥng quận hạt của Edwards. Sau hai năm làm chung tại văn pḥng luật ở San Jose, bà được bầu vào Ban Giam Đốc trường Đại học cộng đồng, rồi đắc cử vào Hội đồng Kiểm Soát quận hạt Santa Clara và bà đă phục vụ liên tục 13 năm.



Năm 1994 bà gia nhập làm đảng viên đảng Dân Chủ, sau khi Edwards về hưu sau 32 năm làm việc trong quốc hội. Với kinh niệm và khả năng, bà đă đánh bại cựu Thị trưởng San Jose là Tom McEnery để trở thành nhân vật thứ nh́ giữ chức Dân Biểu Liên Bang đại diện cho San Jose tại đơn vị bầu cử số 19 cho đến nay. Bà đă được tái đắc cử tới 8 lần.



Bà Dân biểu Liên Bang Zoe Lofgren là một người bạn luôn có những hỗ trợ và ân cần đối với cộng đồng người Mỹ gốc Việt định cư tỵ nạn csVN tại San Jose. Trong những ngày gần cuốiTháng Tư Đen, nhiều tổ chức cộng đồng tại San Jose đă vận động với Chủ Tịch Hội Đồng Kiểm Soát quận hạt Santa Clara là ông Dave Cortese; tân Thị Trưởng San Jose là Sam Liccardo; và Nghị sĩ Tiểu Bang California Jim Beall ra các Nghị Quyết khác nhau cùng công nhận Tháng Tư Đen và tưởng niệm Ngày Quốc Hận 30-4 nhận 40 năm csVN vi phạm Hiệp Định Paris cưỡng chiếm VNCH.



Nhóm VietPress USA cùng trong nỗ lực nầy, đă đứng ra cùng với Hội Người Việt Cao Niên Vùng Vịnh Cựu Kim Sơn và Hội Cựu Tù Nhân Chính Trị Bắc California vận động với Quốc Hội Liên Bang Hoa Kỳ đề nghị ban hành Nghị Quyết công nhận Tháng Tư Đen và ghi ơn tưởng nhớ đến sự hy sinh anh dũng của các chiến sĩ VNCH và Hoa Kỳ để bảo vệ tự do, dân chủ và nhân quyền cho Việt Nam nhân tưởng niệm 40 năm Ngày Quốc Hận.

Qua sự đề nghị nầy, Quốc Hội Liên Bang Hoa Kỳ đă Ban hành Nghị Quyết như văn bản kèm theo trên đây đă vừa được văn pḥng Quốc Hội từ Thủ Đô Hoa Thịnh Đốn gởi đến cho Hội Người Việt Cao Niên Vùng Vịnh Cựu Kim Sơn; Hội Cựu Tù Nhân Chính Trị Bắc California và VietPress USA . Nội dung của Nghị Quyết là Ghi Nhớ đến tất cả cộng đồng người Mỹ gốc Việt theo nguyên văn được dịch.

Một nghị quyết của quốc hội Liên Bang Hoa Kỳ công nhận tháng 4 đen và vinh danh các chiến sĩ Việt Mỹ nhân tưởng niệm 40 năm ngày Quốc Hận. Đây là một chiến thắng lớn của cộng đồng người Việt Quốc Gia ở hăi ngoại. Nhưng sự chiến thắng này sẽ không có ư nghĩa ǵ khi hơn 90 triều người dân Việt trong nước không ư thức, không để tâm đến, không công nhận hoặc cố t́nh làm ngơ để mặc bọn Việt cộng và cái nhà nước độc tài bóp méo xuyên tạc thay đổi sự thật về tháng 4 đen hay chính xác hơn, ngày 30-04-1975, ngày đau buồn tang tóc cho đất nước Việt Nam và mấy chục triệu người dân Việt Nam!

Đúng ra phải có thêm 1 nghị quyết là lũ 5B, vẹm "được" cấm lai văng đến những khu vực người Việt quốc gia dù là đi "hứt cốt" (đừng nói lái lại).

"Thắng" lớn? Lỡ rồi th́ xài luôn chữ.... "wành tráng" cho "xôm tụ" luôn chứ c̣n ngại j́ nữa.
