Nữ du khách bị giật điện thoại khi đang đi bộ tại trung tâm Sài G̣n. Tên cướp chạy xe máy phía sau áp sát giật tài sản rồi tăng ga bỏ chạy khi thấy du khách Pháp cầm điện thoại trên đường.



Mă Trường Thịnh tại công an.

Ngày 1/9, công an phường Nguyễn Cư Trinh, quận 1, TPHCM cho biết, đang tạm giữ Mă Trường Thịnh (27 tuổi, ngụ quận 1, TPHCM) để điều tra về hành vi “cướp giật tài sản”.
Trước đó, tối 31/8, Thịnh chạy xe máy ḷng ṿng trên các tuyến đường ở trung tâm thành phố. Khi đến đoạn qua đường Nguyễn Cảnh Chân, phường Nguyễn Cư Trinh, quận 1, thấy nữ du khách người Pháp (22 tuổi) cầm điện thoại nên Thịnh áp sát và giật tài sản rồi tháo chạy.



Tài sản được trao trả cho nữ du khách người Nga.
Tiếp nhận tŕnh báo, công an phường Nguyễn Cư Trinh vào cuộc điều tra và xác định nghi can giật điện thoại là Thịnh nên tiến hành theo dơi và đến gia đ́nh gặp người thân vận động ra đầu thú.

Khoảng 22h cùng ngày, Thịnh đă đến công an phường Nguyễn Cư Trinh đầu thú và thừa nhận hành vi của ḿnh. Chiếc điện thoại di động do Thịnh cướp được cũng đă trả lại cho nữ du khách.
