Vietbf.com - Đại sứ Mỹ Ted Osius đă chia sẽ trên trang cá nhân rằng “Hăy đến thăm Việt Nam một lần trong đời”, dù ở độ tuổi nào cũng được, v́ không cần phải là tuổi 30, 40, 50 hoặc 60, Bởi bạn nhiều tuổi hơn không hay tuổi mà bạn không thể đến Việt Nam để thưởng thức những ǵ Việt Nam mang lại.

Đại sứ Ted Osius nêu quan điểm của ông bằng cả hai ngôn ngữ Việt và Anh với nội dung: "Báo New York Times vừa nêu Việt Nam là một trong 20 nơi bạn nên đến thăm khi ở độ tuổi 20.

Và dù tôi hoàn toàn đồng t́nh với gợi ư trên, tôi có ư kiến rằng bạn nên đến Việt Nam ở độ tuổi 30, 40, 50 và 60 nữa! Bởi bạn nhiều tuổi hơn không có nghĩa là bạn đă quá già và không thể thưởng thức những ǵ Việt Nam mang lại".

Trong bài viết "20 điểm đến dành cho bạn ở lứa tuổi 20" đăng ngày 20-10 trên phiên bản điện tử của báo New York Times, một trong những nhật báo hàng đầu của Mỹ, Việt Nam là điểm đến thứ 10 liệt kê trong danh sách này.

Tờ báo cho rằng du khách nên tới Việt Nam, một quốc gia "có nền ẩm thực phong phú, với cảnh sắc thiên nhiên và những nét đẹp văn hóa hấp dẫn", đồng thời không tốn kém nhiều chi phí.

Báo gợi ư độc giả có thể tới những thành phố bên bờ biển như Hội An, Huế hay một chuyến lăng du đáng nhớ trên du thuyền 
ở vịnh Hạ Long.

Báo New York Times đă nhiều lần nêu các địa danh du lịch hấp dẫn ở Việt Nam giới thiệu cùng bạn đọc.

Đầu năm nay, trong bài báo gợi ư về 52 điểm du lịch độc giả nên tới trong năm 2016, tờ báo này đă nhắc tới Đà Lạt của Việt Nam ở vị trí thứ 30.

Ư của ông này chắc ai cũng hiểu. Tương tự như người Việt hải ngoại có câu rằng "Về bên đó th́ tuổi nào cũng được gọi bằng anh".
