Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump không hài ḷng với nhiều chi tiết cải tạo tại khu nghỉ dưỡng ở Florida, trong đó có nhiều hạng mục do đệ nhất phu nhân Melania Trump giám sát.Đài CNN ngày 30.12 dẫn nguồn thạo tin cho hay Tổng thống Donald Trump đă sa sầm mặt khi bước vào khu nghỉ dưỡng Mar-a-Lago của ông ở Florida vào 3 ngày trước lễ Giáng sinh v́ nơi này được cải tạo không theo sở thích của ông.

Khu nghỉ dưỡng này được cải tạo trong vài tuần qua nhằm làm cho ṭa nhà rộng khoảng 278 m2 trông rộng răi hơn và chuẩn bị làm nơi ở của ông sau khi hết nhiệm kỳ.Nguồn tin cho hay Tổng thống Trump c̣n không hài ḷng về việc cải tạo cả khu nghỉ dưỡng đánh golf này chứ không riêng ṭa nhà, và ông đă lớn tiếng nói với ban quản lư câu lạc bộ. Nhà Trắng chưa đưa ra b́nh luận về các thông tin trên.

Chính bà Trump và chuyên gia nội thất Tham Kannalikham đă quyết định nhiều hạng mục cải tạo chứ không phải nhân viên tại Mar-a-Lago, và ông Trump cũng biết rơ điều này.Đây không phải là lần đầu tiên sở thích của Tổng thống Mỹ lại mâu thuẫn với phu nhân. Ông Trump từng không hài ḷng với việc trang trí lại tại Trại David, một dự án khác của đệ nhất phu nhân, khi ông đến đây vào lễ Tạ ơn, theo một nguồn tin khác.
C̣n tại khu nghỉ dưỡng Mar-a-Lago, một nguồn tin cho biết ông Trump đă cho tháo dỡ nhiều chi tiết trang trí với đá cẩm thạch trắng và nhiều gỗ đen.
