Vào thứ ba, ngày 25 tháng 6 năm 2019 lúc 8:30 tối, hai người thanh niên lạ mặt đã vào Northline Nails and Spa, tọa lạc tại 4400 North Freeway, ở Houston, Texas. Những người đàn ông bước vào tiệm móng tay với khẩu súng lục chĩa vào khách hàng và nhân viên và yêu cầu tiền và tài sản cá nhân của họ. Sau khi các nghi phạm có thể lấy được tiền và tài sản từ các nạn nhân, những tên cướp đã trốn khỏi hiện trường trên chiếc Chevrolet Silverado 2007-2014 màu trắng. Houston PD: 809109-19

Nghi phạm # 1: Nam da đen, tuổi teen đến 25 tuổi, dáng người gầy ốm, áo thun xanh / xám với logo của Champion và đầu logo Timberland, đôi giày Nike Air Force One màu đỏ và đen. Mang súng ngắn màu đen với slide bạc.

Nghi phạm # 2: Nam da đen, tuổi teen đến 25 tuổi, dáng người vạm vỡ, áo t-shirt camo và quần short camo, giày Nike Air Force One màu trắng. Mang khẩu súng ngắn màu đen.

Cảnh sát sẽ trả 5.000 đô la cho ai cung cấp thông tin dẫn đến việc buộc tội và / hoặc bắt giữ nghi phạm trong vụ này. Thông tin có thể được báo cáo bằng cách gọi 713-222-TIPS (8477) hoặc gửi email trực tuyến tại www.crime-stoppers.org



Ở mỗi thành phố, mỗi tiểu bang, mỗi trung tâm thương mại trên khắp nước Mỹ, các khách hàng đều có thể dễ dàng tìm thấy những tiệm làm móng của người Việt. Trong năm 2017, tổng giá trị của ngành công nghiệp nail tại Mỹ là 8,5 tỷ USD, theo số liệu của tạp chí Nails.


Theo báo cáo thống kê của ngành làm đẹp Mỹ, tiệm nail có nhiều nhất theo thứ tự ở tiểu bang California, Texas rồi đến Florida. Theo Tạp chí Nails (Nails Magazine), người Mỹ gốc Việt nắm giữ đến 50% ngành công nghiệp nail ở Mỹ. Con số này ở bang California lên tới 80%. Tính riêng tại Florida, người Việt sở hữu 62% trong tổng số gần 2.000 tiệm nail có đăng ký hoạt động.

Hai tên cướp cũng tấn công một tiệm nail khác

Vào thứ ba, ngày 28 tháng 5 năm 2019 lúc 6:25 tối, hai thanh niên lạ mặt bước vào tiệm làm móng YM, tọa lạc tại 6464 West Little York, ở Houston, Texas. Hai tên cướp đeo mặt nạ, mang găng tay và súng ngắn.


Các nghi phạm đã chĩa vũ khí vào khách hàng và nhân viên yêu cầu tài sản cá nhân của họ. Sau khi các nghi phạm lấy tài sản của khách hàng và nhân viên, chúng đã trốn khỏi hiện trường trong một chiếc Nissan Sentra màu đen, sau đó được xác định là xe bị đánh cắp.


Nhân viên tiệm nail 80% nữ, 3/4 người gốc Á, và hầu hết ở độ tuổi 25 đến 44. Năm 2013, 48.900 tiệm nail đã đăng ký hoạt động tại Hoa Kỳ. Lượng tiệm nails tăng lên 56.300 vào năm 2017, tương đương với năm 2006.

Khoảng 8,5 tỷ đô la đã được chi cho các dịch vụ làm móng tại Hoa Kỳ vào năm 2017. Các thẩm mỹ viện, cũng cung cấp dịch vụ chăm sóc móng tại một số địa điểm, đóng góp thêm 5,16 tỷ đô la cho ngành công nghiệp. (theo Statista)


Giá trung bình cho một lần làm móng ở Hoa Kỳ là 20,93 đô la. Giá làm móng dịch vụ cao cấp trung bình có giá 31 đô la. Giá dịch vụ tại các tiệm người Mỹ gốc Việt có xu hướng thấp hơn tới 30% so với mức trung bình được công bố cho toàn ngành.

Có hơn 439.000 thợ làm móng hiện đang làm việc trong ngành làm móng ở Hoa Kỳ. California dẫn đầu về số lượng thợ làm móng và tiệm làm móng, với hơn 100.000 người và khoảng 7.900 tiệm. Sau đó là Texas với hơn 48.000 người và khoảng 5.100 địa điểm làm móng.


97% khách hàng ghé thăm tiệm làm móng là nữ giới. 49% khách hàng ở độ tuổi từ 36 đến 50. Chỉ có 2% khách hàng là từ 25 tuổi trở xuống.

49% khách phụ nữ làm móng nói rằng cuộc sống gia đình của họ ổn định và đã có con. 14% khách hàng nữ nói rằng họ đã kết hôn, nhưng họ chưa có con.

45% thợ làm móng tại Hoa Kỳ có kinh nghiệm trên 12 năm. 61% thợ làm móng có học vị, 7% có bằng cao học.

Mặc dù ngành công nghiệp làm móng của Hoa Kỳ tổng doanh thu 8,5 tỷ USD nhưng chỉ đứng thứ 2 trên thế giới, thị trường Nga mới là số một với tổng giá trị là 14,6 tỷ đô la. Canada đứng thứ ba, với quy mô thị trường được báo cáo là 5 tỷ đô la. (theo tài liệu của Nails Magazine)

Nhà phân tích Goldstein Research dự báo quy mô thị trường chăm sóc móng Mỹ đạt 13,31 tỷ USD vào năm 2024 từ mức 8.5 tỷ USD hiện tại, tăng trưởng với tốc độ là 5,9% /năm.

Đừng có trách tao "kì thị" lũ đẻn à nha...
Nhưng phải nói là stereotyping/profiling thì đúng hơn.
Trên 80% "crime and violence" thường phát xuất từ lũ đẻn, nên nếu có "sự cố" gì thì dĩ nhiên cảnh sát (hay tao cũng vậy) sẽ nghĩ thủ phạm là đẻn trước tiên thôi.

Ừ , bạn không nói mọi người cũng đều biết , thí dụ : vào ban đêm hay ngày , bạn đi đang đi bộ trên con đường , bạn gặp một người da đen đi ngang qua bạn , bạn cảm thấy sợ hơn gặp một người da trắng....tại sao vậy.....?

Các bác bên trên "bình loạn" kiểu như thế nói sao viet nam ta không bao giờ khá là vậy! Trên thực tế tội phạm là tội phạm ở đâu cũng có không phân biệt giống dân hay quốc tịch,trên thực tế tại LA 40% những vụ bạo hành và băng cướp là Asian (most vietnamese).
Trở lại thục tế tại viet nam hiện nay trên thì có "đảng cướp" dưới thì tự cướp nhau và lảnh thổ lảnh hải thì có Tàu cướp . Nếu các bác có sự hiểu biết hơn người đang ngồi ở xứ khác mà bình loạn,thì nên về Việt Nam đem cái tài cao hiểu rộng của mình mà giúp ích cho quốc gia dân tộc có phải hau hơn không!.
