Hãng AFP ngày 5.5 dẫn thông tin từ cảnh sát Pháp cho hay một phụ nữ 31 tuổi thiệt mạng sau khi bị chồng rượt đuổi, bắn nhiều phát súng và thiêu sống.
Vụ tấn công rùng rợn diễn ra vào ngày 4.5 (giờ địa phương) tại khu Merignac gần sân bay Bordeaux ở tây nam Pháp. Hung thủ đuổi theo người phụ nữ bỏ chạy trên phố, nã nhiều phát đạn và trúng chân nạn nhân.
Sau khi người vợ gục xuống, hung thủ dùng chất dễ cháy tưới lên người nạn nhân và thiêu sống.
Cơ quan chức năng không tiết lộ danh tính của hung thủ và nạn nhân, nhưng cho biết người phụ nữ trên đã ly thân với người chồng 44 tuổi. Họ có 3 đứa con 3, 7 và 11 tuổi đều sống với mẹ. Chưa rõ động cơ gây án của hung thủ.Người chồng bị bắt khoảng 30 phút sau tại khu Pessac gần đó khi đang mang theo một khẩu súng ngắn, một khẩu súng hơi và đai đạn, theo văn phòng công tố Bordeaux. Nghi phạm này còn bị cáo buộc đốt và gây thiệt hại cho ngôi nhà của nạn nhân.

AFP news agency on Thursday quoted information from French police said a 31-year-old woman died after being chased by her husband, shot several shots and burned alive.
The macabre attack took place on 4.5 (local time) in the Merignac area near the Bordeaux airport in southwestern France. The assassin chased the woman who ran away on the street, fired many bullets and hit the victim's leg.
After the wife fell, the perpetrator used flammable substances to water the victim and burned alive.
Authorities did not disclose the identity of the perpetrator and the victim, but said the woman was separated from her 44-year-old husband. They have 3 children 3, 7 and 11 years old who all live with their mother. The perpetrator's motive for the crime is unknown, and the husband was arrested about 30 minutes later in the nearby Pessac district carrying a handgun, an air gun and a belt, according to the Bordeaux prosecutor's office. The suspect was also accused of burning and causing damage to the victim's home.
The prosecutor's office said the three children were not at home at the time of the incident and all three received post-traumatic counseling.
Domestic violence and murders caused many people in France to protest in 2019. Campaigners believe that many women who try to report violence are often not handled by the police. .
In 2019, up to 146 women in France were killed by their partners, up 21% from the year before. The French government then put out an electronic bracelet to warn the victims that the attackers were nearby. Last year, similar murders dropped to 90.
