Số ca mắc Covid-19 mới đang giảm sâu tại Mỹ trong khi số ca tử vong tính theo tuần lần đầu tiên ở mức dưới 5.000 kể từ tháng 10/2020.
Số ca tử vong do Covid-19 đã giảm 4% còn 4.972 ca vào tuần trước (từ ngày 19 đến ngày 25/4), đánh dầu lần đầu tiên con số này ở mức dưới 5.000 ca kể từ tháng 10/2020, theo phân tích dữ liệu từ các bang và hạt của Mỹ do Reuters công bố hôm 27/4.

Kết quả phân tích dữ liệu cũng cho tgấy số ca mắc Covid-19 mới tại Mỹ trong khoảng thời gian trên đã giảm 16% xuống khoảng 409.000 ca vào tuần trước. Đây là tỷ lệ số ca nhiễm giảm sâu nhất kể từ tháng 2.Michigan tiếp tục đứng đầu về số ca nhiễm mới bình quân, dù sự lây nhiễm đã giảm 29% vào tuần trước so với 7 ngày trước đó. Số ca mới cũng đã giảm 20% ở New Jersey và Pennsylvania, hai bang với tỷ lệ lây nhiễm cao chỉ sau Michigan.

Các ca lây nhiễm mới vẫn tiếp tục tăng hàng tuần tại 12 trên 50 bang, giảm so với 30 bang của tháng trước. Các bang với tỷ lệ lây nhiễm cao nhất là Tennessee, Oregon và Arizona.

Theo Trung tâm Kiểm soát và Phòng ngừa dịch bệnh (CDC), vào ngày 25/4, 43% người dân Mỹ đã được tiêm ít nhất 1 liều vaccine COVID-19, và 29% đã được tiêm đủ liều.

Trung bình cả nước, tốc độ tiêm vaccine đã giảm 14% so với tuần trước về mức 2,7 triệu mũi mỗi ngày.

Số bệnh nhân Covid-19 trung bình tại bệnh viện trên toàn quốc được giữ ổn định ở mức 41.000 người, theo phân tích dữ liệu của Reuters.

Hiện Ấn Độ là nước dẫn đầu mức gia tăng ca nhiễm và ca tử vong trên toàn cầu, song Mỹ vẫn là quốc gia chịu ảnh hưởng nặng nề nhất.

Tới nay, Mỹ ghi nhận 32.865.175 ca nhiễm và 586.550 ca tử vong do Covid-19, tăng 39.628 ca nhiễm và 393 ca tử vong so với một ngày trước đó.

The results of the data analysis also showed that the number of new Covid-19 cases in the US during the above period fell 16% to about 409,000 cases last week. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), on April 25, 43% of Americans received at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 29% received the full dose.

The national average, vaccination rate fell 14% from last week to 2.7 million shots per day.

The average number of Covid-19 patients at hospitals nationwide was stable at 41,000, according to data analysis by Reuters.

Currently, India is the country leading the increase in cases and deaths globally, but the US is still the country most affected.
