Ấn Độ yêu cầu Twitter gỡ bỏ hàng chục tweet chỉ trích chính phủ nước này ứng phó kém trước đại dịch Covid-19, khiến hơn 190.000 chết.

Twitter hôm 23/4 tiết lộ trên cơ sở dữ liệu Lumen, một dự án của Đại học Harvard, rằng chính phủ Ấn Độ đã yêu cầu họ gỡ 21 dòng tweet chỉ trích nước này ứng phó kém với đại dịch Covid-19, dẫn tới tình trạng "vỡ trận".

Các dòng tweet bị chính phủ Ấn Độ yêu cầu gỡ đến từ tài khoản của chính trị gia đối lập Revnath Reddy, một quan chức cấp cao ở bang Tây Bengal tên Moloy Ghatak và một nhà làm phim tên Avinash Das.
