10.000 người biểu tình ở London nhằm phản đối hộ chiếu vaccine và biện pháp hạn chế ngăn Covid-19, trong khi 8 cảnh sát bị thương vì đụng độ.

Cuộc biểu tình diễn ra ở công viên Hyde, thủ đô London ngày 24/4. Người biểu tình đã ném chai lọ về phía cảnh sát. Ít nhất 5 người bị bắt.

Hai trong số 8 sĩ quan cảnh sát bị thương đã phải nhập viện, dù vết thương không quá nghiêm trọng. Ảnh chụp chia sẻ trên mạng xã hội cho thấy một nữ cảnh sát bị chảy máu đầu, trong khi một người khác bị thương ở trán.

"Những sĩ quan này chỉ đang làm nhiệm vụ của họ", John Apter, chủ tịch Liên đoàn Cảnh sát Anh và xứ Wales, đăng Twitter. Một số người mua sắm ở phố Oxford đã bị đám đông trêu ghẹo và yêu cầu bỏ khẩu trang.

Hai ứng viên thị trưởng London Piers Corbyn và Laurence Fox, hai trong số 4 ứng viên phản đối phong tỏa sẽ tranh cử vào tháng 5 tới, đã tham gia cuộc biểu tình.Cuộc biểu tình diễn ra hai tuần sau khi các biện pháp hạn chế Covid-19 được nới lỏng. Anh ngày 24/4 thông báo chiến dịch triển khai vaccine đã đạt cột mốc mới, khi một nửa dân Anh được tiêm chủng, với hơn 33 triệu người tiêm ít nhất một mũi và 12 triệu tiêm đủ số liều quy định.

Bộ trưởng Hancock gọi đây là cột mốc tuyệt vời của Anh, khẳng định chiến dịch tiêm chủng vaccine Covid-19 là cách nước này dần thoát khỏi đại dịch. Anh là một trong những nước thực hiện chiến dịch tiêm chủng nhanh nhất châu Âu và được nhận định đang đi đúng hướng để khống chế đại dịch và dần mở cửa lại nền kinh tế theo kế hoạch.




10,000 protesters in London protested against passport vaccines and restrictions to prevent Covid-19, while eight policemen were injured in the clash.

The demonstration took place in Hyde Park, London, on April 24. The protesters threw bottles at the police. At least 5 people were arrested.

Two of the eight injured police officers were hospitalized, although the injuries were not too severe. Photos shared on social media showed a policewoman bleeding her head, while another was injured on her forehead.

"These officers are just doing their duty," John Apter, president of the Federation of British and Welsh Police, tweeted. "I will continue to give them as much support as I can, but I need the government to do more." Protesters ignored the social segregation rules to march through central London, demanding Prohibit the use of vaccine passport and stop blockade. They carry banners that say "vaccine passport = second level society", or "you don't need proof to prove the truth".

Some of Oxford Street shoppers were teased by the crowd and asked to remove their masks.

London Mayor Piers Corbyn and Laurence Fox, two of the four candidates to oppose the blockade to run in May, joined the rally. Covid-19 regime is relaxed. The UK on April 24 announced that the campaign to deploy the vaccine had reached a new milestone, when half of the British population were vaccinated, with more than 33 million people getting at least one shot and 12 million getting the required number of doses.

Minister Hancock called this a great milestone for the UK, affirming that the Covid-19 vaccination campaign is how the country gradually escapes from the pandemic. The UK is one of the fastest immunization campaigns in Europe and is said to be on the right track to control the pandemic and to gradually reopen the planned economy.
