Không chỉ dừng lại ở đường chín đoạn, Trung Quốc nay đă tung ra bản đồ mà trong đó có đường 251 đoạn. "Tham vọng" này c̣n chưa cả quần đảo Hawaii và Micronesia. Chẳng bao lâu nữa Trung Quốc sẽ "ăn trọn" cả Mỹ.

Tân Hoa Xă đưa tin Bộ Giáo dục Trung Quốc đă ban hành một yêu cầu cho tất cả các cơ quan chính phủ và cơ sở giáo dục của nước này phải sử dụng tấm bản đồ thế giới mới, trong đó đánh dấu các ḥn đảo Hawaii và Micronesia ở khu vực Thái B́nh Dương là một phần lănh thổ của Bắc Kinh.

Manny Mori , Tổng thống Micronesia, đă bày tỏ suy nghĩ của ḿnh khi ông gọi hành động của Trung Quốc là vô lư và cáo buộc Bắc Kinh đang thực hiện một hành động “cưỡng đoạt bản đồ”. Chính phủ Mỹ vẫn chưa lên tiếng về sự việc này.


Bản đô thế giới do Bộ Giáo dục Trung Quốc mới công bố có đường 251 đoạn bao gồm cả quần đảo Hawaii và Micronesia cũng nằm trong vùng lănh thổ nước này. Nguồn: Bộ Giáo dục Trung Quốc

Những “hàng xóm mới” của Trung Quốc đang đặt ra câu hỏi về tính pháp lư của tấm bản đồ này cũng như lo ngại rằng ḿnh sẽ sớm trở thành “nạn nhân” trong chuỗi hoạt động bành trướng lănh thổ của Bắc Kinh. Trung Quốc đang chờ phán quyết của Ṭa trọng tài quốc tế đối với vụ kiện về tranh chấp lănh thổ ở khu vực Biển Đông với Philippines.

Trong khi đó, Bộ Giáo dục Trung Quốc lại lên tiếng bảo vệ quan điểm của ḿnh khi cho rằng tấm “bản đồ 251 đoạn” được tạo nên dựa trên nhiều tài liệu khác nhau từ thời Nhà Thanh. Theo đó, các tài liệu này chứng minh khu vực phía Bắc Mariana và quần đảo Caroline là thuộc về Trung Quốc.

“Nghiên cứu về các khu vực thuộc phần lănh thổ của Trung Quốc vẫn đang được tiến hành”, một quan chức Bộ Giáo dục nước này cho hay.

Một điều đáng chú ư khác là dường như c̣n có bằng chứng cho rằng thời kỳ Nhà Minh của Trung Quốc đă từng kiểm soát cả khu vực châu Nam Cực. Bộ Giáo dục Trung Quốc khẳng định sẽ sớm bắt đầu dự án tạo ra một tấm bản đồ thế giới đă được sửa đổi và hoàn toàn mới.

Thư kư báo chí Nhà Trắng, Josh Earnest hồi tháng 2 nhận định Bắc Kinh đang có “một số bất đồng” với các quốc gia khác và Mỹ tin rằng tất cả các bên liên quan cần phải dàn xếp các bất đồng đó bằng một biện pháp ḥa b́nh để tránh những đối đầu quân sự.

Theo Wikipedia, Liên bang Micronesia là một đảo quốc nằm ở Thái B́nh Dương, phía đông bắc của Papua New Guinea. Quốc gia này là một quốc gia có chủ quyền liên kết tự do với Hoa Kỳ. Liên bang Micronesia trước đây là một phần của Lănh thổ Ủy thác Quần đảo Thái B́nh Dương, một Lănh thổ ủy thác Liên Hiệp Quốc do Mỹ điều hành.

Vào năm 1979 họ đă viết một bản hiến pháp, và vào năm 1986 độc lập theo Hiệp ước Liên kết Tự do với Hoa Kỳ. Những vấn đề đáng quan tâm hiện nay là tỷ lệ thất nghiệp cao, đánh bắt cá đến cạn kiệt, và phụ thuộc nhiều vào viện trợ của Mỹ.
