Bệnh ung thư là bệnh nan giải.
Khi bị ung thư người bệnh hay t́m sang nước ngoài chữa bệnh.
Nhưng nay chỉ cần ở trong nước cũng có thuốc.
Một nhóm nghiên cứu của Trường Đại học Dược Hà Nội đă điều chế thành công thuốc chữa ung thư "made in Việt Nam".
Thuốc chữa ung thư mới được điều chế thành công tại Việt Nam có thể khắc phục nhược điểm của phương pháp hóa trị hay xạ trị chữa ung thư là tiêu diệt cả những tế bào lành, khỏe mạnh khiến cho người bệnh mệt mỏi, suy nhược…

Thuốc trị ung thư của Việt Nam có thể khắc phục nhược điểm của phương pháp hóa trị hay xạ trị chữa ung thư.
Theo đó loại thuốc chữa ung thư "Made in Việt Nam" có tên là Liposome doxorubicin. Đến thời điểm hiện tại thuốc đă được thử nghiệm thành công trong điều trị ung thư cho chuột được gắn tế bào
Đây là loại thuốc chỉ diệt khối u ác tính mà không gây tổn hại đến phần lành, giảm thấp nhất độc tính của thuốc đối với cơ thể.
Các nhà nghiên cứu cho biết, thuốc chữa ung thư mới phát hiện có thể được sử dụng điều trị đơn độc, hoặc kết hợp với phương pháp điều trị và các thuốc khác để điều trị một số dạng khác nhau của ung thư.

Tế bao ung thư bị tiêu diệt hiệu quả nhờ loại thuốc mới này.
Doxorubicin hoạt động bằng cách làm chậm hoặc ngăn chặn sự phát triển của tế bào ung thư. Thuốc được tiêm vào tĩnh mạch với liều lượng dựa trên t́nh trạng y tế, kích thước cơ thể và khả năng đáp ứng điều trị của người bệnh.
Hiện tại, các nghiên cứu vẫn đang tiếp tục đánh giá hiệu quả chữa trị ung thư của loại thuốc này trên người.
