Thông tin nước mắm Việt nhiễm độc không chỉ ảnh hưởng trong nước mà c̣n ảnh hưởng cả ngoài nước.Mặc dù nước mắm Việt xuất khẩu sang Mỹ đă được kiểm duyệt từ Mỹ.Nhưng từ sau vụ cá chết hàng loạt và truyền thông đưa tin nước mắm bẩn khiến người tiêu dùng gốc Việt hoang mang và từ bỏ nước mắm quê hương.

Thời gian vừa qua, thị trường nước mắm Việt Nam “náo loạn” v́ thông tin “nước mắm chứa thạch tín vượt ngưỡng”, sau một công bố kết quả khảo sát của Hội Tiêu chuẩn và Bảo vệ Người tiêu dùng (VINASTAS) cho thấy “khoảng 67% mẫu không đạt chỉ tiêu asen tổng theo quy định của Bộ Y tế. Tuy nhiên khi thử nghiệm 20 mẫu trong số các mẫu khảo sát có asen tổng vượt ngưỡng quy định th́ đều không phát hiện asen vô cơ”.

Theo báo Dân trí, ông Nguyễn Huy Quang, Vụ trưởng Vụ Pháp chế (Bộ Y tế) từ chối đưa ra b́nh luận về kết quả này khi có mặt tại cuộc họp công bố kết quả của VINASTAS. Ông nói: “Đây mới là kết quả khảo sát, chưa phải giám định, kiểm định làm cơ sở cho xử lư. Rất mong báo chí tuyên truyền bà con hiểu đúng chất lượng nước mắm.”

Theo Quy chuẩn kỹ thuật quốc gia đối với giới hạn ô nhiễm kim loại nặng trong thực phẩm của Việt Nam được ban hành theo Thông tư số 02/2011/TT/BYT ngày 13-01-2011 của Bộ Y tế có giới hạn “lượng ăn vào hàng tuần có thể chấp nhận được tạm thời” đối với asen (thạch tín) là 0.015mg/kg thể trọng, tính theo asen vô cơ, và không đề cập đến asen hữu cơ.

Báo Dân trí cũng trích lời ông Phạm Tiến Dũng, đại diện của Bộ Nông nghiệp và Phát triển Nông thôn, cho biết, asen hữu cơ trong nước mắm là tự sinh ra trong quá tŕnh ủ lên men. Tuy nhiên, đến nay chưa có nghiên cứu nào đánh giá với hàm lượng nào th́ có thể gây nguy hại cho sức khỏe. Về lâu dài cần nghiên cứu v́ là món ăn không thể thiếu của người Việt.

Trên trang web của Cơ quan Y tế Virginia, Hoa Kỳ, có đăng tải thông tin: Asen xâm nhập vào cơ thể qua đường hô hấp hoặc tiêu hóa. Cả hai dạng vô cơ và hữu cơ của asen đều được bài tiết qua nước tiểu. Hầu hết asen sẽ đào thải ra khỏi cơ thể trong ṿng vài ngày, mặc dù có thể vẫn tồn tại trong cơ thể vài tháng. Asen vô cơ có thể ảnh hưởng đến da, hệ thần kinh, hệ hô hấp, thận, và hệ tiêu hóa. Asen hữu cơ ít gây hại hơn nhưng có thể gây ảnh hưởng sức khỏe nếu sử dụng ở mức cao. Uống nước có nồng độ asen cao tăng nguy cơ ung thư da, phổi, bàng quang, và thận.

Trước những thông tin trên, anh Antony tại cửa hàng bán thực phẩm Biên Ḥa ở Virginia, cho biết tại cửa hàng bán hai loại nước mắm của Việt Nam và Thái Lan, tuy nhiên từ sau vụ cá chết hàng loạt ở Việt Nam, người tiêu dùng sử dụng nước mắm của Thái Lan nhiều hơn. Về thông tin nước mắm Việt Nam nhiễm độc, anh Anthony nói: “Tụi này lấy bên Cali người ta support qua, người ta take care hết, tụi này chỉ bán lẻ thôi nên không có biết. Nếu mà có trục trặc ǵ th́ bên Cali sẽ thu hồi lại. Tụi Mỹ sẽ kiểm duyệt.”

Sau một loạt bài báo về vụ việc nước mắm chứa thạch tín, trong nước cũng dấy lên dư luận có thể đây là một “chiêu” cạnh tranh không lành mạnh giữa các doanh nghiệp sản xuất nước mắm công nghiệp và truyền thống. Trả lời báo Vietnamnet, Bộ trưởng Thông tin và Truyền thông Trương Minh Tuấn cho biết: “Đúng là một sự cố truyền thông không b́nh thường”.

Trả lời VOA Việt ngữ, Kinh tế gia Nguyễn Xuân Nghĩa ở California, Hoa Kỳ, nhận xét về sự việc này: “Trong khi nhà nước làm chưa dứt khoát th́ những hiệp hội, những người tương đối có kiến thức khoa học hơn, ví dụ Hội Tiêu chuẩn và Bảo vệ Người tiêu dùng Việt Nam chẳng hạn, khi họp báo không có giúp cho người ta có những thông tin rơ ràng lại c̣n gây thêm những hiểu lầm khác, gây thêm hoang mang khác, thành ra nó thiệt hại cho mọi doanh nghiệp sản xuất theo phương pháp an lành, ví dụ như truyền thống của chúng ta.”

Ông Nghĩa cũng cho biết, doanh nghiệp sản xuất nước mắm theo phương pháp công nghiệp hay truyền thống th́ cũng phải chấp hành các quy định về an toàn thực phẩm, nếu có vi phạm th́ phải có biện pháp kỷ luật cần thiết để bảo vệ sức khỏe của người dân.

Nước mắn Việt ǵ mà toàn là chữ ba tàu tên th́ là tiếng Việt không biết có phải là nước Mắm Việt không hay chi là lấy tên Việt sảm phẩm ba tàu.

Hoang mang cái con mẹ ǵ ? Chỉ tránh ra nhửng thứ magiê in vịt nem là chắc ăn ! nhất là tẩy chay nhửng thứ độc khác như cà phê đầu trọc trung nguyên G7 , vinacafe .... ḿ "tôm" cho lủ VC ăn hết cho rồi ! đừng mua đồ chệt , đồ VC, tập nấu đồ ăn từ siêu thị Mỷ là an toàn !
