Tôi không c̣n ngạc nhiên khi đọc những tuyên ngôn ủng hộ Trump của những người bất đồng chính kiến Việt Nam nữa. Tôi cũng không c̣n ham muốn tranh căi ǵ, v́ cảm giác bất lực của tôi hiện nay cũng y như cảm giác bất lực khi tranh căi với những người bạn năm xưa về cộng sản. Khi quan điểm chính trị biến thành niềm tin/đức tin th́ không c̣n chỗ nào để tranh luận nữa.

Tôi đă nói điều này nhiều lần, và nay nói lại: kẻ thù lớn nhất của Việt Nam không phải Đảng Cộng sản, cũng không phải Trung Quốc, mà là cái căn tính gia trưởng, độc đoán đă ăn sâu vào văn hoá nước ta. Nó ở trong mỗi chúng ta, trong người thân của chúng ta chứ không ở đâu xa lạ. Bàn tay của gă vơ sư hôm nọ tát vợ, thực ra cũng là bàn tay của chúng ta. Ta thích những kẻ mạnh và độc đoán.

Chính cái văn hoá gia trưởng này đă đưa cộng sản lên nắm quyền và giúp cộng sản giữ được quyền lực hơn 70 năm qua chứ không phải cái ǵ khác. Nay nhân danh chống cộng sản mà ôm ấp cái căn tính gia trưởng đó th́ chỉ là chữa bệnh ngoài da, lợi bất cập hại. Vứt bỏ những giá trị dân chủ để nhờ một kẻ độc đoán đánh Trung Quốc hộ th́ chẳng khác nào đăi thóc giống ra ăn.

Nhưng cũng chính v́ nó ở trong mỗi chúng ta, trong người thân của chúng ta, mà nó khó chống hơn cả. Khó chống v́ ít ai tự nhận có một kẻ độc tài trong bản thân ḿnh, v́ ngại va chạm với người thân của ḿnh, sợ mất ḷng, sợ mất sự ủng hộ.

Phong trào dân chủ Việt Nam sở dĩ không được thế giới quan tâm nhiều, một phần đáng kể là ta không hoà ḿnh được vào những giá trị chung của thế giới, không quan tâm đúng mức đến những ǵ thế giới quan tâm. Khi thế giới văn minh lên án những kẻ như Trump th́ ta ủng hộ hoặc làm ngơ, miễn là có ai đó đánh Trung Quốc hộ chúng ta. Bản thân người trong nước cũng có ít lư do hơn để đánh giá cao phong trào này.

Với riêng trường hợp của Trump, những người Việt yêu Trump hiện giờ là những người đi nhờ (free-riders). Nhờ Trump chống Trung Quốc hộ ḿnh, bất kể Trump có gây hại ǵ cho nước Mỹ và cho thế giới nói chung hay không, bất kể Trump đang mời gọi ác quỷ khắp nơi trỗi dậy thế nào, bất kể Trump đang trực tiếp và gián tiếp gây hại tới môi trường tự nhiên ra sao. Ta không phải nạn nhân trực tiếp của Trump. Ai đó ở đâu đó đang phải trả giá, thậm chí bằng mạng sống, cho chúng ta hưởng lợi (hoặc chúng ta tưởng là sẽ được hưởng lợi).

bài viết rất hay và chính xác .. đa số những nguời việt ũng hộ cụ dump ở đây đều là "free riders" . chỉ biết dựa vô một nguời khác để chống lại bọn chệt cộng thôi .. c̣n những ǵ khác th́ không màng tới .. vậy tui xin hỏi c̣n chống cộng săn (nói chung) và chống việt cộng (nói riêng) th́ sao nhỉ ... vậy những nguời này (free riders) có chống không? hay là chỉ v́ một quyền lợi cá nhân mà thôi .. cả chế độ cộng săn c̣n đó .. trung cộng, hàn cộng, nga xô .. v...v..c̣n đó vậy th́ tuơng lai chống cộng c̣n nữa không hay là chỉ chống chệt cộng v́ quyền lợi về kinh tế .. thế th́ có nhiều nguời nói chống chệt cộng th́ có nghĩa là chống cộng săn .. th́ đây là hoàn toàn sai lầm .. v́ cụ dump chỉ có chống chệt về quyền lợi kinh tế thôi .. nhưng mà chế độ cộng săn vẫn c̣n đó .. bây giờ nói chống chệt cộng để làm cho KT của chúng sụp đổ rồi CS sẽ đổ theo .. có thể đồng ư .. nhưng KT chệt có bị eo hẹp th́ sao ?? các công ty sẽ bỏ chệt rồi cũng đi qua các nuớc gần đó như thằng việt cộng chẳng hạn .. th́ tiếp sẽ sao? thằng cộng săn có chết không? hay là cũng tiếp tục giúp tay cho thằng cộng săn thêm vững sống tiếp thôi ..

nếu mà ḿnh nghĩ về một quyền lợi của ḿnh th́ sao chứ .. chẳng có lợi lộc ǵ cho nguời tỵ nạn cộng săn chỉ muốn chế độ cộng săn suy sụp thôi .. chứ không phải đánh một thằng rồi mấy thằng khác cũng vẫn vậy hay mạnh hơn .. đánh làm ǵ

Chẳng có ǵ là lạ đó là phép xă giao khi bất cứ lănh tụ nào đến viếng thăm khi người dân nước đó yêu cầu.
Chắc ở đây ai cũng nói chính sách Mỹ ủng hộ nước nào có lợi cho nước Mỹ. Vậy mấy đời TT trước Clinton, Bush, Obama rồi Trump tới VN ủng hộ CSVN?
