Gordon Sondland từng đóng góp 1 triệu USD cho Ủy ban tổ chức lễ nhậm chức của Tổng thống Trump và sau đó ông được bổ nhiệm làm Đại sứ Hoa Kỳ tại Liên Hiệp Châu Âu cho đến ông bị cách chức v́ làm nhân chứng trong việc luận tội gây bất lợi cho Tổng thống.

Ông Trump cũng định trả ơn cho ông Stephen Moore, một cố vấn của ông Trump trong chiến dịch tranh cử, bằng cách đề cử ông Moore làm chủ tịch Quỹ Dự trữ Liên bang (Federal Reserve System - FED). Ông này có bằng cấp về kinh tế nhưng không có kinh nghiệm nên tự rút lui.

Một người nữa được Tổng thống Trump đề cử vào chức vụ thứ hai tại FED là ông Herman Cain, chuyên môn về toán học và điện toán, từng kinh doanh về pizza thành công và buôn bán cổ phần trị giá thấp thường khoảng dưới 5 USD (penny stock). Ông Cain cũng xin rút lui.

Ngoài việc sử dụng bạn bè thân thuộc (cronyism) đi ngược với nguyên tắc dân chủ, Trump c̣n là người chủ trương chính sách gia đ́nh trị (nepotism), bổ nhiệm con rể Jared Kushner và con gái Ivanka Trump làm cố vấn cao cấp, và cho hai người này security clearance bất kể lời khuyên của cơ quan an ninh.

Trump từng cho Ivanka, một người không đủ khả năng, tham dự Hội nghị thượng đỉnh G-20 và trao trách nhiệm chọn người làm chủ tịch Ngân hàng Thế giới. Ngoài ra Tổng thống Trump c̣n giao cho con trai Eric Trump, một người chuyên tổ chức đám cưới, trách nhiệm điều hành nhà ở của liên bang tại New York và New Jersey.

Jared Kushner, theo nghiệp của cha ruột, làm nghề đầu tư và phát triển bất động sản, được bố vợ cử hướng dẫn nhiều phái đoàn ngoại giao qua Trung Đông bao gồm nhiều nhân viên của Bộ Ngoại giao.

Ngoài ra, Tổng thống Trump c̣n trao cho con rể trọng trách phối hợp công việc chống đại dịch Covid-19 bao gồm việc cung cấp những thiết bị y tế.

Thật sự có những người muốn làm Đại sứ phải có tí tiền cở triệu đô trở lên...ngài mới tin. Để nhờ thangtram cho danh sách.
C̣n thằng rễ nhập đồ y tế dơm của tàu cộng về bị phát hiện nhưng có ai làm ǵ nó đâu!

Ủa bên mỹ cũng có vấn đề mua quan bán chức nửa hả...sao y bài bảng giống vc quá..vậy bên mỹ cố gắng học hành làm ǵ ...có tiền mua bằng dỏm cở tiến sỉ trở lên đi th́ khỏi sợ thất nghiệp.

Trump-connected lobbyists reap windfall in COVID-19 boom

Forty lobbyists with ties to President Donald Trump helped clients secure more than $10 billion in federal coronavirus aid, among them five former administration officials whose work potentially violates Trump's own ethics policy, according to a report.

The lobbyists identified Monday by the watchdog group Public Citizen either worked in the Trump executive branch, served on his campaign, were part of the committee that raised money for inaugural festivities or were part of his presidential transition. Many are donors to Trump's campaigns, and some are prolific fundraisers for his reelection.

They include Brian Ballard, who served on the transition, is the finance chair for the Republican National Committee and has bundled more than $1 million for Trump's fundraising committees. He was hired in March by Laundrylux, a supplier of commercial laundry machines, after the Department of Homeland Security issued guidance that didn't include laundromats as essential businesses that could stay open during the lockdown. A week later, the administration issued new guidance adding laundromats to the list.
