Theo tạp chí kinh doanh Forbes của Mỹ, Barcelona hiện là đội bóng giá trị nhất thế giới. Barca xứ Catalan có tổng giá trị 4,76 tỷ đô la, vượt qua 4,75 tỷ đô la của Real Madrid.
Tờ báo cho biết trong ngày thứ Hai số phát hành mới nhất rằng cho đến nay chỉ có hai câu lạc bộ, Manchester United và Real Madrid, có thể đứng ở vị trí đầu danh sách, câu lạc bộ Anh đă 11 lần và Real Tây Ban Nha 5 lần trong 16 năm gần nhất.
