They're forced to take the oath of telling the truth. If they answer honestly they could go to jail later on as evidences stacked up against them. If they lie intentionally they could go to jail for lying under oath. Doom if they do, doom if they don't!

I think most likely they will take the 5th amendment for every question. It's a nice way to give the Court a middle finger and walk out of it alive.
