Sorry To Bug You For A Buggy
Airport, Canada, Employees, Lazy/Unhelpful, Toronto | Working | May 11, 2020
My mom needs wheelchair assistance at airports and arranges to get it in advance. But once, when she got off her flight, no one was there to meet her. She managed to make her way to a worker with a buggy and asked for a ride to her next stop.
The woman agreed but just sat there chewing gum and texting while my mom, a clearly disabled woman with a walker, loaded her luggage into the back. You’d think that a two-hour layover would give plenty of time to get to your next flight, but due to offloading time and management incompetence, she only barely made her flight.
