1) It doesn't matter what his profession is! Nor can it be use as an exemption! Application of the law must be equal and unbiased

2) Though already boarded, airplane personnel can have passenger deplane!

3) In this case, United Airlines (UA)

---> may have transgressed against FAA guidelines and federal laws
---> may have not properly applied their own internal guidelines and procedures
---> may have not even had a written formal policy pertaining to this perculiar situation since ...
.......... A) this wasn't really about overbooking, but simply accommodating another UA flight crew on their way to another scheduled flight in KY
.......... B) this occurred after boarding completion

4) Give it a few months and people normal flying behavior will overlook this
