1) The atmosphere & scenes around the VN areas in CA is better

2) The weather in CA is better. God forbid you visit Houston the Summer months

3) CA has more interesting attractions to visits and do. Hey, you could die at any moment when the earth swallow you up!

4) Beside eating and visiting NASA, which is extremely boring even when you get VIP treatment to the back lots and mission control, what is there to do? SA is another 3.5 hrs. drive. Dallas is dead and 4 hrs away. LA for gambling is no comparison to Sin City. So The Big Easy, 5 hrs away, is only good at nite & during Mardi Gras
