Before I say this, just don't get me wrong. My dad was in the VNCH army before 1975, by default I should be "Đứng Dưới Lá Cờ Vàng" as you think but please hear my thought about this:

Why one has to choose "Đứng Dưới Lá Cờ Vàng" or "Đứng Dưới Lá Cờ Do?" ?

Why can it be another? Like "Đứng Dưới Lá Cờ some colors" for a new VN?
