It's been over a long time ago. Look at the posted pictures, the policies and esp. people's attitudes. All western, capitalistic ideas, attires and modes!

The total dissolution of VN distinctive culture and heritage! All thanks to Hoe Hoe and his twinkies!

Its relevance and negative impact on the VN people are clearly evident and well documented in facts by what has already transpired since CSVN totalitarianism regime came into existence. Not even ardent communist leaders and CSVN founding members can ignore and negate the fact that Hoe Hoe utopian communal society was an absolute, abject failure and nightmare inflicted upon its people. Blind faith , rampant corruption fueled by uneducated autocrats and plain old ignorance resulted in 5 million plus deaths - accounting for both sides. All of this, for what?

Current CSVN is at the same juxtaposition, in regards to economic and foreign policies, that a free VN (aka VNQH) had advocated and position 50+ years ago! Saigon, though they try to shackle and burden her w/ an asinine and insane mongrel name, is still Saigon! Though loosing alot of her luster of yesteryears, Saigon is still full of vibrance and more capitalistic than ever. Just like the former capital of a free VN and certainly coming back from a near death experience, Hue still retains her charm and is a playground for the upwardly mobile. Hanoi, what else is there to say? An old dodgy and dying capital that is a one hit wonder. Only clinging on to the days of past kingship's glories! Stale, stagnant and lifeless, but encumber with endless charlatans and fools who reeks of pretentious communistic piety and dogma. All the while self righteously raiding the coffer and selling their mother, betraying their father, murdering their brother and whoring their sister for some yuan and now greenbacks!

Hoe Hoe communism and the "people congress", if such an oxymoron thing can be call that, primary mandates pertain not to protecting VN distinctive culture and heritage! It, they (Ba Dinh as its instrument), only addresses Marxist ideology and theory between class struggles for resources and how to protect the Party (Dang). Only Dang can exist? Only Dang can protect the people? Only Dang know what is good for the people? Such foolish and closed minded mind set only betrays this cancerous infiltration into the uneducated minds. No more nationalism! Yes, nationalism can be use to inflict great suffering, harm and fear, ie. Germany's Hitler and Japan's Hirohito, but it can also have positive effects to motivate and attain feats of greatness in a country, ie. the US pre and post Emancipation Proclamation Act signed by President Lincoln.

So you really don't need to ask why the fight has such resoluteness for the free people of VN and for the people fighting for freedom in CSVN. CSVN, two contrasting and mixed emotions! Sadness because :

1) VN distinctive culture and heritage lost and sold in under three generations
2) VN people are shackled to a communistic, dogmatic and sadistic totalitarianism regime

Happy because there are free VN people who will continues to carry and represent a proud "Me VN". Unencumbered by chains of dogma and persecution for not conforming to Hoe Hoe's and Marxist's pedagogy!
