Thượng nghị sĩ đảng Cộng hòa Mitch McConnell đã bị ngã rất nặng ở tầng hầm tòa nhà Russell vào thứ năm.

McConnell cũng từng bị đóng băng.

Kristinn Taylor của TGP trước đây đã đưa tin rằng McConnell bị chấn động não và gãy xương sau một lần ngã vào năm 2023. Ông đã phải nhập viện và phục hồi chức năng một thời gian trước khi trở lại Thượng viện.
