At his Cabinet Meeting today, President Trump revealed he will indeed be making large and permanent cuts to Government as a result of the Shutdown:

*TRUMP: WILL BE MAKING PERMANENT CUTS DUE TO SHUTDOWN

And he also confirmed the cuts will be ONLY Democrat programs:

"We'll be cutting some very popular Democrat programs."

"That's the way it works."


"We'll give them a little taste of their own medicine."

What a beautiful thing it is!

I can’t believe the Democrats walked right into this one and then backed themselves so far into a corner they can’t get out!

I think it’s very possible President Trump figures out how to cover and pay for essential services (like air traffic control) and then runs this shutdown for 6 months or longer, and after 6 months go by and no one has missed anything then start asking the question: Why did we need any of these programs and people in the first place?

Of course the obvious answer is we don’t. We don’t need them at all.
