Hoa Kỳ trục xuất 972 người quốc tịch Cộng Sản Bắc Việt di cư bất hợp pháp qua đường Mexico.
The United States deported 972 North Vietnamese Communist nationals who illegally immigrated via Mexico.

Theo số liệu, từ năm 2020 đến 2022, số người Việt vượt biên giới phía nam của Mỹ luôn dưới 300 người. Tuy nhiên, con số này tăng hơn 10 lần trong năm 2023, lên gần 3.300 người.

Tính từ tháng 10/2023 đến hết tháng 2/2024, con số đó là gần 2.400 người.
Mỗi người vượt biên trả khoảng 60.000 - 75.000 USD cho toàn bộ hành trình từ Việt Nam sang Mỹ bất hợp pháp. Họ thậm chí còn đánh cược cả tính mạng khi phải băng qua những khu vực nguy hiểm ở Nam Mỹ và Mexico.

Thống kê từ Bộ An ninh Nội địa Mỹ cho năm tài khóa 2023 ghi nhận gần 3.300 người Việt vượt biên giới phía nam của Mỹ.

Có 102 nước trong danh sách này của Bộ An ninh Nội địa Mỹ, Việt Nam xếp thứ 26 về số lượng.

According to data, from 2020 to 2022, the number of Vietnamese people crossing the southern border of the US was always under 300 people. However, this number increased more than 10 times in 2023, to nearly 3,300 people.

From October 2023 to the end of February 2024, that number was nearly 2,400 people.

Each border crosser paid about 60,000 - 75,000 USD for the entire journey from Vietnam to the US illegally. They even risked their lives when having to cross dangerous areas in South America and Mexico.
Statistics from the US Department of Homeland Security for fiscal year 2023 recorded nearly 3,300 Vietnamese people crossing the southern border of the US.

There are 102 countries on this list of the US Department of Homeland Security, Vietnam ranked 26th in terms of quantity.

2023 có 24.000 người Trung Quốc nhập cư bất hợp pháp vào Hoa Kỳ, 2024 con số này đã tăng lên đáng kể, chỉ 2 tháng đầu năm 2024 có tới 20.000, cả năm có thể rơi vào 100k-120k.
