Cựu ngoại trưởng Mỹ Henry Kissinger đã cảnh báo cử tri Mỹ rằng đừng mong đợi ông Donald Trump thực hiện toàn bộ những lời hứa lúc tranh cử, đặc biệt là trong lúc tình hình Quốc tế dễ biến chuyển.

Trong cuộc phỏng vấn với CNN ngày 20.11, ông Henry Kissinger - ngoại trưởng Mỹ dưới thời cựu tổng thống Richard Nixon, cho biết trước đó đã có cuộc nói chuyện với Tổng thống đắc cử Donald Trump về các chính sách ngoại giao.

Ông Kissinger coi ông Trump là người "độc nhất" vì thắng cử tổng thống Mỹ từ nền tảng là một tỉ phú, nhà Kinh doanh chứ không phải chính trị gia. "Đây là tổng thống đắc cử độc nhất mà tôi từng gặp. Ông ấy tuyệt đối không có hành trang gì cả, không bị lệ thuộc vào bất cứ nhóm nào vì đã trở thành tổng thống nhờ chiến lược của riêng mình", ông Kissinger nhận xét.

Bên cạnh đó, cựu ngoại trưởng Mỹ cho rằng ông Trump không quá bắt buộc phải giữ toàn bộ những lời hứa lúc tranh cử, đặc biệt là những lời hứa mà ông Trump không nhấn mạnh. Theo ông Kissinger, Tổng thống đắc cử Trump giờ đây có thể sẽ phát triển một chiến lược bền vững, đáp ứng một số vấn đề từng đề cập trong chiến dịch tranh cử hoặc có liên hệ với những chủ đề chính trong chính sách đối ngoại của Mỹ.

"Tôi nghĩ chúng ta nên cho ông Trump cơ hội phát triển những mục tiêu tích cực mà ông ấy có hoặc từng thảo luận, vì Mỹ từng trải qua quá nhiều thập niên mà các quan chức trong chính quyền có sự chia rẽ", ông Kissinger nói.

Theo ông Kissinger, "mọi người không nên "đóng đinh" ông Trump với những quan điểm mà ông đã đưa ra trong chiến dịch tranh cử" vì điều đó sẽ gây phản tác dụng, đặc biệt là khi phải đối mặt với tình hình thế giới dễ chuyển biến.

Có thể nói như vậy. Như mọi người đều biết, Trump không có kinh nghiệm gì về chính trị cho nên ông ta sẽ không bị trói buộc vào hai chữ do dự. Vì thế, những điều gì ông ta nói có thể sẽ được thực hành. Là một thương gia lớn thì lợi ích cá nhân là hàng đầu. Những gì không có lợi cho nước Mỹ thì nên xóa bỏ. Những ai bất lợi cho nước Mỹ thì nên trục xuất, và những kẻ nào muốn đối đầu với Mỹ thì nên dằn mặt.
Mỹ thật sự phải trở nên hùng mạnh như thời TT Ronal Reagan.
