Bị án Bùi Tiến Dũng, nguyên tổng giám đốc PMU 18 đang bị ung thư phổi. Một lănh đạo công an xác nhận hắn ta được cho về nhà do tiến triển bệnh rất nặng và khó ḷng qua khỏi. Đồng thời TAND tỉnh Thái Nguyên vừa có quyết định tạm đ́nh chỉ chấp hành án phạt tù đối với Bùi Tiến Dũng.



Quyết định này do ông Ma Nghĩa Hùng, chánh án TAND tỉnh Thái Nguyên kư.

Theo lănh đạo Tổng cục VIII, bị án Bùi Tiến Dũng đang chấp hành án phạt tù tại trại giam Phú Sơn 4 (Thái Nguyên).

Trong quyết định ghi rơ lư do tạm đ́nh chỉ án phạt tù là do ông Bùi Tiến Dũng đang bị ung thư phổi trái đă phát triển di căn hạch tuyến thượng thận trái T2, N2, M, nghi ngờ di căn phổi phải và có tiên lượng xấu.

Hiện ông Dũng đă được đưa về một bệnh viện tại Hà Nội để điều trị.

Thời hạn tạm đ́nh chỉ chấp hành án phạt tù đối với ông Dũng là là 12 tháng. Các cơ quan tố tụng giao ông cho UBND phường Phương Liệt, Q.Thanh Xuân, TP Hà Nội quản lư trong thời gian được tạm đ́nh chỉ chấp hành án phạt tù.

Ô Bùi Tiến Dũng đă bị khởi tố, truy tố và bị và bị tuyên án trong hai bản án với tổng h́nh phạt 23 năm tù cho các tội danh “đánh bạc”, “đưa hối lộ” và “lợi dụng chức vụ, quyền hạn trong khi thi hành công vụ”.

Ông Dũng bị Cơ quan điều tra khởi tố, bắt giam từ năm 2006.
