Ngày 15/8, đoàn liên ngành quận 1 (TP HCM) gồm lực lượng trật tự đô thị, nhân viên Chi cục Thú y... qua nhiều tuyến đường, công viên khu vực trung tâm để xử lý nạn chó thả rông.



Tại đường Hoàng Sa, lực lượng chức năng bắt chú chó chạy rông bỏ vào lồng. Nhiều người dân xung quanh vội lùa vật nuôi của mình vào nhà. Tương tự, trên đường Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, đội bắt chó bắt thêm hai con khác không rọ mõm, buộc xích.
Sau hai giờ ra quân, đoàn liên ngành bắt 5 chú chó đưa về lưu giữ tại 31 Mai Thị Lựu, phường ĐaKao, quận 1. Chúng được chăm sóc, cho ăn uống trong khi chờ chủ đến đóng phạt.
Theo ông Đoàn Ngọc Hải (Phó chủ tịch UBND quận 1), người dân để chó thả rông, không rọ mõm, chích ngừa, buộc xích... đi ra nơi công cộng sẽ bị phạt 600.000-800.000 đồng; để vật nuôi phóng uế bị phạt 100.000-300.000 đồng. Trong vòng 72 giờ chủ vật nuôi không đến nhận, cơ quan thú y sẽ xử lý theo quy định.
Đoàn liên ngành sau buổi ra quân cũng kiến nghị sửa chữa lại xe bắt chó, có lực lượng công an hỗ trợ để tránh trường hợp chủ vật nuôi phản ứng tiêu cực.
