Nhiều người dân Việt Nam giật mình khi biết Việt Nam đứng thứ 12 bảng xếp hạng giáo dục toàn cầu. Trong khi đó, xu hướng đứa con đi du học tại Mỹ, Úc, Anh vẫn đang trong tình trạng "nô nức". Như vậy Bảng xếp hạng này dưa trên những tiêu chí nào?

Việt Nam vượt qua nhiều nền giáo dục lớn như Mỹ, Pháp, Úc để vươn lên đứng thứ 12 trong Bảng xếp hạng chất lượng giáo dục toàn cầu của Tổ chức Hợp tác và Phát triển Kinh tế (OECD), tờ BBC đưa tin.


12 quốc gia đứng đầu trong bảng xếp hạng chất lượng giáo dục dựa trên điểm thi toán và khoa học của học sinh ở độ tuổi 15 do OECD thực hiện.

Bảng xếp hạng được đưa ra dựa trên sự phân tích, tổng hợp kết quả điểm thi của các kỳ thi toán và khoa học trên cùng một tiêu chí, cùng một thang điểm so sánh chung cho cả các nước phát triển và đang phát triển.

Ông Andreas Shleicher, Giám đốc giáo dục của Tổ chức Hợp tác và Phát triển Kinh tế (OECD) phát biểu: “ Đây là lần đầu tiên, chúng tôi thực hiện một bảng xếp hạng với quy mô toàn cầu về chất lượng giáo dục”.

Quy mô bảng đánh giá lần này được mở rộng ra 76 quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ, khoảng 1/3 các nước trên thế giới trong khi trước đây, các đánh giá thường chỉ tập trung xem xét ở các quốc gia phát triển.

Trong bảng xếp hạng lần này, 5 quốc gia đứng đầu gồm hoàn toàn các quốc gia ở châu Á, theo thứ tự là Singapore, Hồng Kông, Hàn Quốc, Nhật và Đài Loan. 5 nước xếp cuối bảng bao gồm Oman, Morocco, Honduras, Nam Phi và Ghana.

Việt Nam vinh dự xếp thứ 12, trong khi các nền giáo dục được coi là có chất lượng tốt nhất thế giới như Úc xếp vị trí thứ 14, Anh đứng thứ 20, Pháp thứ 23, Mỹ thứ 28 và Thụy Điển chỉ xếp thứ 35.

Các quốc gia trong khu vực Đông Nam Á lại khá khiêm tốn khi Thái Lan chỉ xếp thứ 47 và Malaysia thứ 52.

Ngoài ra, các nhà cố vấn của OECD cho biết những phân tích trong lần xếp hàng này còn cho thấy mối liên hệ giữa giáo dục và tăng trưởng kinh tế.

"Ý tưởng này của chúng tôi nhằm cung cấp cho nhiều quốc gia, cả giàu và nghèo những số liệu để họ có thể tự so sánh với những nước đang dẫn đầu về hệ thống giáo dục trên thế giới, để họ thấy được điểm mạnh và điểm yếu của mình, và xem xét những lợi ích kinh tế lâu dài có thể có từ việc cải thiện chất lượng trường học." - Andreas Schleicher, giám đốc giáo dục của OECD cho biết.

Singapore, quốc gia đứng đầu bảng xếp hạng, từng có tỷ lệ mù chữ khá cao vào những năm 1960. Đây là minh chứng rõ ràng nhất về mối liên quan giữa giáo dục và sự phát triển kinh tế.

Nghiên cứu cho thấy, Anh hiện có khoảng 1/5 trẻ bỏ học khi chưa hoàn thành chương trình giáo dục cơ bản. Tổ chức Hợp tác và Phát triển Kinh tế (OECD) cho rằng việc giảm tình trạng bỏ học và nâng cao kỹ năng cho học sinh có thể mang lại hàng nghìn tỷ đô la cho nền kinh tế Anh sau này.

Tổ chức này cũng ước tính rằng nếu Ghana, quốc gia đứng cuối bảng, trang bị đầy đủ kỹ năng cơ bản cho tất cả các thiếu niên 15 tuổi, thì trong tương lai, GDP của nước này sẽ tăng đến 38 lần.

Ngoài ra, kết quả của bảng xếp hạng một lần nữa cho thấy sự yếu kém của Mỹ, khi xếp hạng của cường quốc số 1 thế giới này còn xếp sau nhiều nước châu Âu, châu Á và cả Việt Nam.

Những số liệu này cũng làm nổi bật sự suy giảm của Thụy Điển, trong bối cảnh OECD vừa cảnh báo nước này có vấn đề nghiêm trọng trong hệ thống giáo dục của mình.

Được biết, những số liệu và bảng xếp hạng này sẽ chính thức được công bố tại Diễn đàn Giáo dục Thế giới tổ chức ở Hàn Quốc trong tuần tới, nơi Liên Hiệp Quốc triệu tập một Hội nghị bàn về mục tiêu nâng cao chất lượng giáo dục toàn cầu vào năm 2030.

Nếu VN co Tự-Do , có đủ khí tài [sách vờ tài liệu], thì có biết bao nhiêu là nhân tài học thuật , Singapour hay Nam Hàn có là gì với VN trước 75 .
Ngày trước năm 1975 miền Nam VN đã có kỉ sư hóa vô cơ (bí mật)ngày VN chết thì ai đó đem phi cơ trực thăng đến khiên đi rồi.Lò nguyên tử Đà Lạt VN đã có từ cuối đệ nhất cộng hòa v.v.v.....
Kể ra thêm cho đau lòng con QQ.vì nhìn trường lớp , thư viện chẳn có chi cã nên làm gì còn có nghiên cứu sinh ?????

VC có một trường đại học mà không nước nào sánh nỗi, là đại học ý lộn học đại Trường sơn, chuyên đào tạo từ y tá rừng, thiến heo thành lãnh đạn tài không cao, trí quá tệ đưa đất nước xuống hàng chót nhất (XHCN)...hehehhe

con bà nó!! giáo dục việt cộng đứng hàng thứ 12 từ dưới đếm lên thì có . bỏ ra vài trăm triệu là có cái bằng đứng nhất thôi , chứ học sinh việt cộng mà đi học cái con mẹ gì ... còn nghe nói là Mỹ là first priority mà dân việt cộng muốn đưa con cháu đi du học (rồi chuồn thẳng cẳng luôn) ..rồi kiếm chồng / vợ rồi ở luôn .. sau đó là đến Canada , rồi đến Úc .. và rồi các nước ở Châu âu .. đông Âu .. vi` Mỹ và Canada là 2 nước rất khó đi du học vì sau vụ 9/11 nên họ sợ mấy thằng khũng bố việt cộng .. còn Úc là thằng dể nhất ..

có vậy thôi mà cũng viết một bài để nâng bi nữa sao .. con bà mẹ tụi việt cộng làm như không ai biết gì hết .. chỉ lừa được dân đen thôi mấy ku

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) listing is nothing new. OECD ranking, by way of mathematics, reading and science tests results based upon 15 years old participants, only indicates the relative strength and weakness in each country educational system when compare with other nations, ie. the predominant ASIAN style of teaching methodology vs. the West.

1) Asian teaching methodology primarily emphasize rote learning vs. the opposite for Western teaching methodology. Asian teachers typically spend less time teaching and more time preparing lessons and tutoring students in class. Though producing good test takers, rote learning also puts huge pressure on students and discourages independent thinking. As such, many Asian educators, policymakers and parents have sent their educators and children to the US for their education to improve and gain that lost creative element from within their system.

2) Vice versa, Western educators seek to improve their scores by incorporating more time tutoring and preparing students to take these types of exams. Is it a good thing? Hard to say and too early to predict the cost of these educational experiments. Will it cause the West to fall from its creative advantage in the post secondary educational system where most Asian students still flock to, esp. in STEM departments?
