Hôm qua 31/11, Ṭa án phúc thẩm chấp nhận kháng cáo, giảm án cho ông Phan Văn Anh Vũ (Vũ "Nhôm") về tội Cố ư làm lộ bí mật nhà nước.


Bị cáo Phan Văn Anh Vũ trong phiên ṭa sơ thẩm.

TTXVN đưa tin, ngày 31/10, Ṭa án Nhân dân Cấp cao tại Hà Nội mở phiên phúc thẩm xét kháng cáo xin giảm nhẹ h́nh phạt của Phan Văn Anh Vũ khi cho rằng chỉ vô ư chứ không cố t́nh gây ra hành vi "làm lộ bí mật nhà nước.

Xem xét các t́nh tiết giảm nhẹ, ṭa phúc thẩm đă giảm một năm tù cho ông Vũ.

Ba tháng trước trong phiên xử kín, TAND Hà Nội tuyên phạt ông Vũ mức án 9 năm tù về tội “Cố ư làm lộ bí mật Nhà nước”, theo khoản 3 điều 337 của Bộ luật H́nh sự năm 2015. Nội dung vụ án không được công bố.

Cùng hầu ṭa, ông Phan Hữu Tuấn (63 tuổi, cựu trung tướng, cựu phó tổng cục trưởng Tổng cục T́nh báo, Bộ Công an) bị phạt 7 năm và Nguyễn Hữu Bách (55 tuổi, cựu cán bộ Bộ Công an) nhận mức án 6 năm.
