Tổng thống Mỹ đă tố Trung Quốc can thiệp vào bầu cử Mỹ 2016 nhưng lại không đưa ra bằng chứng.

CBS News dẫn lời ông Trump cho biết: "Tôi nghĩ rằng Trung Quốc cũng can thiệp bầu cử và thành thật mà nói Trung Quốc là vấn đề lớn hơn".

Trước đó, khi phát biểu trước Hội đồng Bảo an Liên Hợp Quốc hồi tháng 9, Trump cũng từng cảnh báo Trung Quốc sẽ can thiệp vào bầu cử giữa kỳ Mỹ sẽ diễn ra vào tháng 11.

Cáo buộc Trung Quốc can thiệp vào bầu cử Mỹ được Trump được đưa ra vào thời điểm căng thẳng trong quan hệ Mỹ - Trung đang gia tăng, đặc biệt là cuộc chiến thương mại khốc liệt giữa hai nước. Tuy nhiên, Trump không đưa ra bằng chứng chứng minh cho cáo buộc này.

Trong bài phát biểu ngày 4/10 tại Học viện Hudson, Phó Tổng thống Mỹ Mike Pence cho biết Trung Quốc t́m cách gây ảnh hưởng đến dư luận xă hội Mỹ vào thời điểm diễn ra cuộc bầu cử giữa kỳ. Theo Pence, "cách lănh đạo của Trump tỏ ra hiệu quả và Trung Quốc mong rằng Mỹ sẽ có một tổng thống khác" là động cơ khiến Bắc Kinh có thể can thiệp vào bầu cử giữa kỳ của nước này.

Bộ trưởng An ninh Nội địa Mỹ Kirstjen Nielsen cảnh báo Trung Quốc phát động chiến dịch chưa từng có nhằm tác động đến dư luận Mỹ trước bầu cử giữa kỳ của nước này, song cho biết hiện chưa có bằng chứng cho thấy Trung Quốc t́m cách tấn công hệ thống bầu cử Mỹ.

Trong cuộc phỏng vấn hôm 14/10, Trump bác bỏ cáo buộc nhờ Nga trợ giúp trong chiến dịch vận động tranh cử tổng thống vào năm 2016. "Mọi người nghĩ rằng tôi sẽ gọi cho Nga để nhờ giúp đỡ trong kỳ bầu cử ư? Nga không thể giúp ǵ được cho tôi cả. Gọi cho họ là điều thật sự lố bịch".

Công tố viên đặc biệt Robert Mueller và lưỡng viện quốc hội Mỹ đều đang tiến hành cuộc điều tra về nghi vấn Nga can thiệp vào cuộc bầu cử Tổng thống Mỹ 2016, tuy nhiên cả Nhà Trắng lẫn Điện Kremlin đều bác bỏ cáo buộc này.
