Các tiệm Nails của người Việt tại Đức bị phát hiện nhiều người làm chui, sau khi cảnh sát và thuế quan Đức bất ngờ tiến hành một cuộc kiểm tra, lục soát lớn để t́m kiếm các nhân viên có kê khai đầy đủ giờ làm việc như yêu cầu không, cũng như hồ sơ, giấy tờ kinh doanh của tiệm ở Bonn và huyện Rhein-Sieg .

Hải quan Đức tăng cường kiểm tra, bắt giữ nhiều người Việt Nam làm lậu tại các tiệm Nails

35 nhân viên, được chia làm nhiều đội đă tiến hành kiểm tra đồng thời ở nhiều tiệm Nails khu vực này và ngay lập tức đă phát hiện những người làm chui ở hai tiệm Nails đầu tiên. Họ phát hiện ba người phụ nữ Việt Nam không có giấy tờ tùy thân hoặc không có giấy phép lưu trú nên đưa về đồn v́ t́nh nghi làm việc chui.

Tại một tiệm Nails ở quận Bad Godesberg, khi các nhà điều tra bước vào tiệm lúc 13 giờ 45 th́ không nh́n thấy ai nên họ phải đi t́m và phát hiện một phụ nữ Việt Nam ở dưới hầm nhà, mang hộ chiếu Slovakia. Người phụ nữ này lấy chồng người Slovakia nên có giấy tờ hợp pháp, cho dù các nhà điều tra thắc mắc trong ḷng, v́ sao người phụ nữ này lại bỏ chồng ở nhà sang Đức làm việc.

Trong một tiệm Nails ở Sankt Augustin, các nhân viên thuế quan đă phát hiện hai người phụ nữ Việt Nam có lẽ làm chui và phát hiện được hai người phụ nữ Việt Nam khác trong một tiệm Nails ở Troisdorf, một người sinh sống bất hợp pháp ở Đức và người kia không có giấy phép lao động. Cả bốn người này được đưa về đồn để lấy lời khai.

Trong đợt lục soát lớn này, các nhân viên cảnh sát và thuế quan muốn kiểm tra xem các nhân viên có kê khai đầy đủ giờ làm việc như yêu cầu không, cũng như hồ sơ, giấy tờ kinh doanh của tiệm. Tham gia đợt kiểm tra này có những nhân viên được đào tạo đặc biệt để có thể kiểm tra tại chỗ xem hộ chiếu thật hay giả. Trước khi các nhân viên mặc đồng phục tiến hành kiểm tra, họ cho nhân viên mặc thường phục vào trước để xem ai đang làm việc, không thể căi bừa là khách tới làm Nails.

Phát ngôn viên thuế quan Ahland cho biết, tiếp theo đó họ sẽ tiến hành thủ tục để đưa những người chủ thuê nhân viên làm lậu ra ṭa. Theo luật pháp của Đức, một nhân viên làm chui có thể bị phạt tới 50.000 Euro, trong khi một người chủ thuê nhân viên làm chui có thể bị phạt tới nửa triệu Euro.
