Ông Duterte với chiến dịch chống ma túy mạnh mẽ hơn bào giờ hết, ông từng tuyên bố 'Dù có bị bỏ tù, tôi vẫn tiếp tục giết tội phạm ma tuý'. Mặc cho Liên Hiệp quốc, mặc Mỹ có thể kết tội ông tội giết người hàng loạt, dọa sẽ cho ông ra tòa án quốc tế- ông vẫn cứ làm. Không cần phân biệt người đó là ai và làm chức vụ gì, "trảm" là "trảm".
Một thị trưởng quyền lực ở Philippines nằm trong danh sách trừng trị tội phạm ma tuý của Tổng thống Rodrigo Duterte đã bị bắn chết cùng 9 vệ sĩ trong cuộc đọ súng với cảnh sát hôm 28.10.



Hiện trường vụ việc.

10 người đàn ông đã chết trên đường tới bệnh viện vì vết thương nặng. Những người này đã nổ súng vào cảnh sát khi hai xe của họ bị chặn tại chốt kiểm soát ở tỉnh Mindanao.

"Đây là hành động hợp pháp của cảnh sát" – Reuters dẫn lời ông Bernard Tayong, văn phòng cảnh sát North Cotabato cho hay, nói thêm rằng hai nhân viên cảnh sát bị thương, nhưng xe cảnh sát bị đạn bắn lỗ chỗ.

"Chúng tôi nhận được thông tin thị trưởng và quân của ông ta vận chuyển ma tuý, vì vậy chúng tôi đã cố gắng ngăn chặn, nhưng họ chọn cách chống cự bắn lại" - ông Tayong nói với báo giới.

Vụ bắn chết thị trưởng quyền lực Samsudin Dimaukom diễn ra cách khá xa thành phố của ông ta là Datu Saudi Ampatuan.

Vụ việc mới nhất này xảy ra trong bối cảnh Philippines đang thay đổi chiến thuật trong cuộc đấu tranh chống ma tuý, bằng cách tập trung vào các chính trị gia, quan chức chính phủ, người nổi tiếng, sĩ quan quân đội và cảnh sát cao cấp bị tình nghi dính líu đến ma tuý. Chiến dịch mới có tên gọi "Double Barrel Alpha" nhằm tăng cường bắt bớ và giảm bớt giết hại.

Tổng thống Duterte đã trở về Philippines hôm 27.10 sau chuyến thăm Nhật Bản. Trong cuộc họp báo ông đưa ra một cuốn sách dày trong đó có tên khoảng 3.000 quan chức bị tình nghi. "Tôi không muốn công khai điều này vì sẽ chỉ làm cho người Philippines gào thét".

Trong số những người thiệt mạng trong cuộc chiến chống ma tuý, hơn 1.600 người bị cảnh sát bắn chết. Dư luận quốc tế lên tiếng bày tỏ quan ngại về các vụ giết người không qua xét xử này.

Duterte giết người bịt miệng mà thôi, vì Samsudin Dimaukom đã từng tố cáo Duterte nhiều lần, đã là cái gai cần phải nhổ đi (chiêu này là mới học được sau chuyến đi ăn xin ở Tàu và CSVN) !
