Ca sĩ Thế Sơn đã bất ngờ lên tiếng sau khi chứng kiến hình ảnh ca sĩ Thu Phương mặc chiếc áo dài cờ đỏ sao vàng hát trong một chương trình ca nhạc khi trở về Việt nam.Chuyện này đã khiến cho nhiều khán giả và ca sĩ hải ngoại cảm thấy thất vọng về nữ ca sĩ.

Sự việc khởi đầu từ việc cách đây khoảng 1 tuần, báo chí trong nước Việt Nam đăng hình nữ ca sĩ hải ngoại Thu Phương trở về Việt Nam, mắc chiếc áo dài cờ đỏ sao vàng để thu âm một chương trình ca nhạc trong nước.

Ca sĩ Thế Sơn đã chia sẻ như sau: “Tuần trước, khi vừa thấy bức hình chị Thu Phương với chiếc áo dài cờ việt cộng thì tôi chỉ biết thở dài ngao ngán. Thở dài bởi vì xưa kia có 1 người anh đã khuất từng ra tay giúp chị mở rộng mối giao tình với cộng đồng tị nạn cộng sản, để có thể phát triển tài năng & nghề nghiệp của chị nơi vùng đất mới. Thở dài bởi vì bản thân tôi cũng rất mến mộ tài năng chị, nên đã từng ủng hộ chị vượt qua những đố kỵ, tị hiềm hay kỳ thị trong đồng nghiệp! Nhưng nay thì chị đã chọn con đường riêng…”

Ca sĩ Thế Sơn cho biết đã liên lạc với Dũng Taylor, bầu sô ca nhạc- để thông báo xin rút tên ra khỏi 2 shows ca nhạc sẽ được tổ chức vào ngày 30 và 31/07 sắp tới tại Mississipi, bởi vì trong show ca nhạc này sẽ có ca sĩ Thu Phương trình diễn. Sau đó, anh Dũng Taylor có báo cho anh Thế Sơn biết là ca sĩ Thu Phương đã tự động rút tên ra khỏi 2 chương trình, nên mong Thế Sơn đừng bỏ show.

Cũng theo ca sĩ Thế Sơn, anh không còn chút hứng thú nào với show diễn, dù không có mặt ca sĩ Thu Phương. Tuy nhiên, vì không muốn ảnh hưởng đến những đồng nghiệp khác, cũng như nghĩ đến những khán giả, anh đã chấp nhận lời yêu cầu để quay trở lại hát trong show. Ca sĩ Thế Sơn cho biết tiền thù lao của 2 show này sẽ được tặng toàn bộ cho các thương phế binh VNCH, thông qua Hội H.O. Cứu Trợ TPB & Quả Phụ VNCH.

Việc làm đầy ý nghĩa này của ca sĩ Thế Sơn lại trùng hợp với dịp cộng đồng người VIệt tại Hoa Kỳ đang háo hức chờ đợi đại nhạc Hội Cám Ơn Anh, sẽ diễn ra cũng vào ngày 31/07.

Ca sĩ Thế Sơn mới đây đã hát ca khúc đấu tranh Con Đường Việt Nam. Ca khúc này được một cựu tù nhân lương tâm viết tặng cho tù nhân lương tâm Trần Huỳnh Duy Thức. Bài hát đã làm xúc động hàng triệu người dân Việt Nam trong và ngoài nước.

Con Bắc Kỳ zón nầy máu VC đã vô đến tũy cũa nó rồi. Không chừng nó đã xâm ngôi sao Vàng trên cái Mu cũa nó, đễ mỗi tháng.......... Đõ và Vàng................. Bấy lâu nay chẵng qua là vì danh lợi nó mới đóng kịch thôi. Bây giờ đã có tất cã thì nó trỡ về nguồn gốc cũa nó.

Cả 2 ca sĩ Thu Phương và Bằng Kiều khi bị CSVN chận đường trình diễn ơ Việt Nam, Chạy qua Hoa kỳ núp bóng dưới chiêu bài tị nạn trước đây. Người đã giúp đở tiền tài, mái ấm và cả cái thẻ xanh trong thời gian mới chạy qua Hoa Kỳ.
