Vietbf.com - Công dân Mỹ gốc Việt, Will Nguyễn bị bắt v́ biểu t́nh ở Việt Nam, vừa về đến Houston, Texas, trả lời nhiều câu hỏi của giới truyền thông, bao gồm cả truyền thông Mỹ lẫn truyền thông của cộng đồng người Việt, trong đó nói về vụ $1.7 triệu mà các trang mạng của chính quyền CSVN cáo buộc Will đă mang về để phát cho người biểu t́nh, ông cho hay “đó là Fake News”.

Ông Will Nguyễn trả lời phỏng vấn báo giới tại phi trường quốc tế Houston. (H́nh chụp qua màn h́nh TV)

Một đoạn video của đài truyền h́nh ABC 13 cho thấy ông Will Nguyễn và cô em gái Victoria Nguyễn bước xuống thang cuốn tại phi trường quốc tế Houston, trong lúc báo giới đứng chờ bên ngoài.

Người đầu tiên ông Will Nguyễn ôm là bà mẹ ông.

Trên trang Facebook của ḿnh, cô Victoria cho biết họ bay từ phi trường O’Hare ở Chicago đến Houston.

Cô không cho biết trước đó ông Will Nguyễn và cô bay từ đâu đến Chicago.

Trước đây, cô viết trên Facebook rằng ông Will Nguyễn sẽ về đến Houston ngày 1 Tháng Tám.

Tại cuộc họp báo, Will Nguyễn trả lời nhiều câu hỏi của giới truyền thông, bao gồm cả truyền thông Mỹ lẫn truyền thông của cộng đồng người Việt, về những t́nh tiết của cuộc bắt giữ và những ngày trong nhà tù, cũng như suy nghĩ của anh về Việt Nam.

Nói về vụ $1.7 triệu mà các trang mạng của chính quyền CSVN cáo buộc Will đă mang về để phát cho người biểu t́nh, ông cho hay “đó là Fake News”.

Trên trang Facebook của ḿnh, ông Trịnh Du, một nhà hoạt động cộng đồng ở Houston, cho biết ông Will Nguyễn sẽ có mặt tại hội chợ cộng đồng ở Hong Kong City Mall vào lúc 8 giờ tối Thứ Bảy 4 Tháng Tám để cám ơn đồng hương Việt Nam.

Ông Will Nguyễn sinh ra tại Houston, tốt nghiệp cử nhân chuyên ngành nghiên cứu Đông Nam Á tại đại học Yale University, Connecticut, và vừa hoàn tất bằng cao học tại Đại Học Lư Quang Diệu ở Singapore.

Ông từ Singapore qua Việt Nam du lịch vào đúng dịp nổ ra cuộc biểu t́nh của người dân chống dự luật cho nước ngoài thuê đất 99 năm và dự luật an ninh mạng.

Trước khi bị bắt, ông Will Nguyễn phổ biến trên Facebook cá nhân những lời khen ngợi: “Nhà cầm quyền Cộng Sản đang cho phép người dân tụ tập ôn ḥa và người dân thực thi các quyền công dân để phản đối các bất công.”

Sau đó, ông phổ biến thêm một số h́nh ảnh, phản đối cảnh sát chặn đường người dân, và bị bắt.

H́nh ảnh trên các mạng xă hội cho thấy đầu ông chảy máu, bị một số người khiêng đi, và sau đó bị đẩy lên xe cảnh sát.

Vài ngày sau, theo AFP, ông xuất hiện trên truyền h́nh nhà nước và nói lời nhận tội bằng tiếng Việt như sau: “Tôi tiếc đă gây rắc rối cho những ai đi ra phi trường. Tôi đă gây kẹt xe và gây rắc rối cho gia đ́nh tôi và bạn bè. Tôi sẽ không tham gia bất cứ hoạt động nào chống chính quyền (Việt Nam) nữa.”

Kể từ sau vụ ông Will Nguyễn bị bắt, nhiều dân cử liên bang và địa phương ở Mỹ viết thư đến Tổng Thống Donald Trump và Ngoại Trưởng Mike Pompeo yêu cầu can thiệp với phía Việt Nam để thả ông.

Một ṭa án ở Sài G̣n hôm Thứ Sáu, 20 Tháng Bảy, quyết định trục xuất ông Will Nguyễn v́ tội “Gây rối trật tự công cộng theo Khoản 2, Điều 318 của Bộ Luật H́nh Sự,” theo *********.

Ngoài chuyện bị trục xuất, ông Will Nguyễn c̣n phải đóng một số tiền phạt.

“Chúng tôi hài ḷng là trường hợp của công dân Mỹ Will Nguyễn đă được giải quyết,” ông James Thrower, một phát ngôn viên ṭa Đại Sứ Mỹ ở Hà Nội, cho Reuters biết qua email. “Qua quyết định của ṭa, chúng tôi hiểu là ông ấy bị trục xuất sau khi đóng một khoản tiền phạt.”

Hôm 30 Tháng Bảy, ông Will Nguyễn viết trên trang Facebook của ḿnh như sau: “Chính quyền Việt Nam cắt ghép các lời nhắn của Will để làm h́nh ảnh của Will trở thành quá khích. Họ điền thêm một ḍng rằng Will muốn lật đổ chế độ (và là không đúng sự thật). Will không căm thù đảng, và Will cũng không căm thù chính phủ Việt Nam, nhưng cách thức mà họ tŕnh bày với sự thật thật là đáng sợ.”

“Và họ c̣n thắc mắc tại sao họ không chiếm được ḷng dân… Việt Nam xứng đáng được có những ǵ tốt đẹp hơn thế,” ông Will viết như vậy.

Theo ABC 13, ngay khi đến phi trường ở Houston, ông Will Nguyễn có tiếp xúc ngắn với giới truyền thông và nói về thời gian ông bị giam giữ tại Việt Nam.

Ông nói ông cảm ơn tất cả mọi người đă vận động để ông được tự do. (Đ.D.)

Các pác tranh căi chuyện 1.7 triệu USD mà người th́ nói $5,000 USD là bị hảng quan chặng lấy...các pác ko hiểu nếu mang về Việt Nam th́ bao nhiêu ko có khai báo...nhưng khi mang ra khỏi Việt Nam th́ dưới $5,000 USD ko khai báo...C̣n trên $5,000 USD phải chứng minh đúng th́ mới được phép mang ra khỏi Việt Nam...Nhà nước Việt Nam nói trước hay sau khi Will Nguyễn ra toà và trở về lại Mỹ? Nếu đă nói trong phiên toà là Will Nguyễn mang tiền về Việt Nam phân phát để nhằm lật đổ nhà nước Việt Nam th́ sao ngay trong toà Will Nguyễn không dám lên tiếng...C̣n nếu nói sau khi Will Nguyễn về đến Mỹ th́ các pác ngồi đó căi làm ǵ...

Hôm Will Nguyễn đi biểu t́nh ở trong ḿnh anh ta có đúng là 1,7 triệu nhưng là Tiền Bác Hồ,v́ anh ta là người Mỹ nên VN cho là Đô la cho nó sang.
