Tổng thống Trump đă có một tuyên bố về sự ủng hộ của các cựu Tổng thống Mỹ với bức tường biên giới. Tuy nhiên cả 4 cựu Tổng thống Mỹ đang c̣n sống đă bóc trần lời tuyên bố của Tổng thống Trump.

TT Trump tuyên bố như thế trong cuộc họp báo thứ sáu tuần trước ở Vườn Hồng của Ṭa Bạch Ốc khi giải thích với báo chí v́ sao ông từ chối cho phép mở cửa lại chính phủ liên bang nếu Quốc Hội không chuẩn thuận số tiền 5 tỉ đô la mà ông yêu cầu phải có trong ngân sách cho bức tường.

TT Trump khi đó có tuyên bố: “Lẽ ra chuyện này đă phải được tất cả các TT Hoa Kỳ trước tôi làm xong rồi và họ đều biết như thế. Một số trong số họ c̣n bảo với tôi là chúng ta lẽ ra đă nên làm bức tường rồi”

Angel Urena, phát ngôn nhân của cựu TT Bill Clinton, nhanh chóng xác nhận là cựu TT Clinton chưa bao giờ nói với TT Trump về chuyện này. Ông Urena nói: “Thực ra, kể từ khi TT Trump làm lễ nhậm chức đến nay, cả hai chưa bao giờ nói chuyện với nhau”

Ông Freddy Ford, phát ngôn nhân của TT George W.Bush, cũng cho hay ‘cựu TT Bush chưa bao giờ bàn luận với TT Trump về chuyện bức tường cả’

Cuối cùng đich thân cựu TT Jimmy Carter lên tiếng bác bỏ tuyên bố của TT Trump, khi ông tuyên bố như sau: “Tôi không có thảo luận chuyện tường biên giới bao giờ với TT Trump và cũng không ủng hộ ông ấy về lănh vực này”

Một nữ phát ngôn nhân của Ṭa Bạch Ốc hôm nay đă từ chối trả lời các câu hỏi của báo chí gọi vào hỏi chuyện này và cả quyền Đổng Lư văn pḥng Mick Mulvaney cho biết ông cũng “không biết chuyện này một chút nào cả”

Obama th́ chắc để dư luận phán xét, nói ra mắc cỡ lắm lắm !
