Người Việt vẫn chuộng hàng ngoại hơn hàng nội. Và ngay cả trong ăn uống, sự lựa chọn cũng bị ảnh hưởng rơ rệt. Hăy cùng vietbf khám phá nha!


Chị Đặng Thị Thu ở khu đô thị Mỹ Đ́nh 2 (Nam Từ Liêm, Hà Nội) vừa nhận được hai khay vẹm xanh Pháp đông lạnh đặt mua từ 3 ngày trước. Chị cho hay sẽ chế biến vẹm thành món canh chua để cả nhà thưởng thức vào bữa tối nay.

Thường th́, nhà chị thường đặt mua vẹm xanh Pháp về nướng mỡ hành, hấp sả để thiết đăi khách vào dịp cuối tuần. Riêng mùa hè, chị lại sử dụng vẹm xanh để nấu bát canh chua, ăn vừa mát vừa bổ dưỡng.

“Nước ḿnh cũng có vẹm xanh, nhưng tôi thích chọn hàng ngoại hơn dù giá của chúng khá đắt đỏ”, chị nói. Tuy chưa ăn vẹm xanh của Việt Nam nhưng một lần qua Pháp và New Zealand, được ăn thử món này, chị mê tít v́ thịt của chúng ngọt, béo rất đặc biệt.

“Ăn một lần mà đến giờ tôi vẫn nhớ. Sau chuyến du lịch, tôi liền t́m mối đặt mua về để gia đ́nh cùng ăn”, chị Thu chia sẻ.

Tương tự, chị Trần Thị Hải Hà ở ngơ 165 Xuân Thủy (Cầu Giấy, Hà Nội) cũng cho biết, gia đ́nh chị là tín đồ của món vẹm xanh Pháp và New Zealand. “Dù giá của nó lên đến 700.000 đồng/kg, nhưng vẹm xanh xuất xứ từ hai nước này ăn đều ngon hơ hẳn, không thể chê vào đâu được”.

Tuy nhiên, chị chia sẻ, chị chọn mua vẹm xanh Pháp bởi đây là loại vẹm khai thác tự nhiên, khác hoàn toàn với loại vẹm được nuôi. Giá rất đắt nhưng 1 kg vẹm nhưng cũng chỉ nấu được một bát chua cho bữa tối cả nhà.

Thực tế, theo khảo sát của PV, trên thị trường loại vẹm xanh được rao bán khá nhiều. Đơn cử, vẹm xanh tươi sống Phú Yên, Hà Tĩnh giá bán hiện tại là 90.000-100.000 đồng/kg, vẹm xanh New Zealand giá 260.000 đồng/kg, vẹm xanh Pháp khoảng 660.000-700.000 đồng/kg.

Trao đổi với PV, anh Nguyễn Văn Hoàng, chủ một cửa hàng hải sản Cầu Giấy cho biết, vẹm xanh (green mussels) là loài trai có hai mảnh vỏ, thường được t́m thấy ở vùng biển châu Á - Thái B́nh Dương và đă được nuôi nhiều tại Nhật Bản, Trung Quốc, Thái Lan, Việt Nam, Australia và New Zealand,...

Khi c̣n nhỏ, vẹm vỏ xanh có vỏ màu xanh, khi trưởng thành chuyển thành màu nâu đen. Với đặc tính sống bám vào một vật cố định, vẹm xanh thường rất dễ đánh bắt, quan sát. Hiện đang vào mùa thu hoạch và khai thác vẹm xanh.

Các món ăn chế biến từ vẹm xanh rất bổ dưỡng, đặc biệt tốt cho những người mắc các bệnh liên quan xương khớp nên hàng bán khá chạy.

“Ở cửa hàng của tôi có cả vẹm nội và ngoại, nhưng hàng ngoại bao giờ cũng được dân giàu Việt chọn mua nhiều hơn, nhất là vẹm xanh Pháp”, anh Hoàng nói.

Theo anh Hoàng, loại vẹm xanh Pháp được anh nhập về qua đường xách tay, là hàng đông lạnh, không phải tươi sống nhưng dân vẫn thích mua v́ được đánh bắt ngoài tự nhiên nên ngon hơn vẹm nuôi. Tuy nhiên, anh Hoàng cũng cho biết, vẹm xanh Pháp và New Zealand muốn mua đều phải đặt hàng. Sau khi đặt khoảng 3-4 ngày sẽ có vẹm giao đến tận nhà cho khách.

Trung b́nh, mỗi tuần anh có hai chuyến hàng vẹm ngoại nhập về Việt Nam, mỗi lần trên dưới 100kg tùy vào số lượng khách đặt, anh Hoàng cho biết.

Anh cũng tiết lộ, khách ăn vẹm ngoại đều là những người có thu nhập khá, họ thường đặt mua theo tuần. Thậm chí, có nhà c̣n đặt mua cả 5 kg/lần về làm tiệc đăi khách.

Con Vẹm biểu tượng của VC, từ hai chữ VM đọc thành Vẹm và dân Miền Nam thường gọi bọn nó bằng Vẹm Hũi.
Có địa phương gọi con vẹm là "lồn.... tiên" như vậy th́ Vẹm là....tiền ...lôn....hahahaha
