Hôm qua 24/12, phái đoàn ngoại giao của Mỹ tại Liên hiệp quốc tuyên bố họ đă nhất trí cắt giảm 285 triệu USD trong số tiền đóng góp ngân sách LHQ cho 2 năm tài chính 2018-2019.

Lư do ngoài việc tiết kiệm chi phí Mỹ c̣n muốn tăng cường "thêm tính kỷ luật và trách nhiệm trong toàn hệ thống của LHQ".

Một trong những mục tiêu mà chính quyền của tổng thống Donald Trump đặt ra là giảm bớt những khoản đóng góp của nước Mỹ cho LHQ.

Hiện tại Mỹ là quốc gia đóng góp khoảng 22% tổng ngân sách của LHQ, tương đương khoảng 3,3 tỉ USD mỗi năm, theo PolitiFact.

Đại hội đồng LHQ trước đây đă thông qua ngân sách hoạt động cho hai năm 2016 và 2017 là 5,4 tỉ USD. Khoản ngân sách thông thường này độc lập với khoản ngân sách của LHQ dành cho các hoạt động ǵn giữ ḥa b́nh tốn kém hơn nhiều mà chỉ tính riêng trong năm 2017 đă là 7,8 tỉ USD.

Đại sứ Mỹ tại LHQ, bà Nikki Haley cho biết, tuyên bố cắt giảm đóng góp ngân sách ngày 24-12 là "một bước đi lớn đúng hướng" với nước Mỹ, và bà sẽ tiếp tục theo đuổi "những cách thức để tăng cường tính hiệu quả của LHQ trong việc bảo vệ các quyền lợi của chúng tôi".

Bà Haley nói: "Sự thiếu hiệu quả và chi tiêu quá đà của LHQ vốn là chuyện nhiều người biết. Chúng tôi sẽ không để cho sự hào phóng của người dân Mỹ bị lợi dụng cũng như không để duy tŕ t́nh trạng thiếu kiểm soát. Sự cắt giảm chi tiêu lịch sử này - cùng với nhiều động thái khác hướng tới một LHQ hiệu quả và trách nhiệm hơn - là một bước đi lớn đúng định hướng".

Từ lâu những người theo quan điểm bảo thủ của Mỹ vẫn luôn chỉ trích việc LHQ đă không bảo vệ quyền lợi của nước Mỹ. Những quan điểm này càng có dịp trỗi dậy khi tuần qua cơ quan lớn nhất hành tinh này đă thông qua nghị quyết phản đối quyết định thừa nhận Jerusalem là thủ đô Israel của tổng thống Donald Trump.

Ừ , Ông Trump quả nhiên là nhà kinh donah lơi lạc , nhái mắt 1 cái là thu lại 285 triệu USD liền , chưa TT nào làm được như vậy , tôi thấy các bạn nói rút khỏi LHQ luôn là sai lầm rất lớn , không khác nào tự cô lập chính ḿnh ,c̣n chân trong LHQ Mỹ c̣n la hét ít nhiều được , c̣n rút khỏi LHQ ,TQ , Nga nắm trùm lúc đó Mỹ la hét vang trời chả có ai đếm xỉa , mà ngược lại TQ+ Nga nó hét lại c̣n đoc hơn.

3.3 tỷ cho mỗi năm....con số này có thể đủ để cover bảo hiểm sức khỏe cho dân Mỹ.
Chỉ giảm đi hơn hai trăm triệu là quá ít.

Ừ , Ông Trump quả nhiên là nhà kinh donah lơi lạc , nhái mắt 1 cái là thu lại 285 triệu USD liền , chưa TT nào làm được như vậy , tôi thấy các bạn nói rút khỏi LHQ luôn là sai lầm rất lớn , không khác nào tự cô lập chính ḿnh ,c̣n chân trong LHQ Mỹ c̣n la hét ít nhiều được , c̣n rút khỏi LHQ ,TQ , Nga nắm trùm lúc đó Mỹ la hét vang trời chả có ai đếm xỉa , mà ngược lại TQ+ Nga nó hét lại c̣n đoc hơn.
Trung Quốc và Nga lên điều hành LHQ không những LHQ uống nước lạnh để hoạt động và các thành viên LHQ đều bị bóp cổ không cho nói được một lời chứ đừng nói đến chống đối.
Nh́n lại Tây Tạng, Tân Cương, Nội Mông, Ấn Độ, Việt Nam, Phi Luật Tân bị TQ bóp cổ như thế nào mà học.
