Chính quyền Trump sẽ mạnh tay với Trung Quốc trên Biển Đông hơn Obama
 

Vấn đề Biển Đông đương nhiên Mỹ không thể nương tay bởi quyền lợi của Mỹ rất nhiều trên con đường huyết mạch này. Vì thế Trung Quốc đừng có mong rằng qua mặt được Mỹ mà độc chiếm Biển Đông, họ chỉ có thể bắt nạt được các nước nhỏ mà thôi. Hôm qua 23/1, Bộ máy mới ở Nhà Trắng đã ra tuyên bố cảnh báo Trung Quốc rằng Mỹ sẽ bảo vệ “lợi ích quốc tế” ở Biển Đông và nhấn mạnh thương mại phải là “sự hai chiều”.

Tại cuộc họp báo ở Nhà Trắng, ông Sean Spicer, thư ký báo chí của Tổng thống Donald Trump, bảo vệ lập trường thận trọng của Washington trong mối quan hệ với Bắc Kinh.

Một phóng viên đã hỏi ông Spicer về phát biểu của ứng viên ngoại trưởng Mỹ Rex Tillerson rằng Mỹ cần phải ngăn cản Trung Quốc xây đảo nhân tạo trái phép trên Biển Đông. Tuy không trả lời cụ thể hơn, ông Spicer cho thấy chính quyền mới sẽ cứng rắn trong vấn đề Biển Đông.

“Mỹ chắc chắn sẽ bảo vệ các lợi ích của chúng ta ở khu vực đó. Đó là vùng biển Quốc tế chứ không thuộc sở hữu của Trung Quốc. Chắc chắn chúng ta sẽ bảo vệ các lợi ích quốc tế để nó không bị một nước nào tước đoạt”.

Dưới thời cựu Tổng thống Obama, Washington giữ quan điểm trung lập và nói rằng các tranh chấp phải được giải quyết bằng luật pháp quốc tế. Mỹ cũng tuyên bố ủng hộ tự do hàng hải và nhiều lần tiến hành các cuộc tuần tra khẳng định điều này.

Về thương mại, ông Spicer lặp lại quan điểm mạnh mẽ của Tổng thống Trump rằng những luật lệ hiện hành là có lợi cho hàng hoá xuất khẩu từ Trung Quốc, khiến người Mỹ mất nhiều việc làm.

Trong khi đó, các công ty Mỹ gặp hạn chế khi muốn tiếp cận dịch vụ tài chính và ngân hàng ở Trung Quốc, khó khăn trong vấn đề bảo vệ quyền sở hữu trí tuệ...

Theo Spicer, Tổng thống Trump hoàn toàn biết rằng các doanh nghiệp Mỹ muốn tiếp cận Thị trường rộng lớn ở Trung Quốc nhưng sẽ không chấp nhận tình hình hiện nay tiếp diễn.

“Trong rất nhiều trường hợp, đó không phải là sự hai chiều. Rất nhiều doanh nghiệp và cá nhân Trung Quốc có thể tiếp cận dễ dàng thị trường Mỹ để bán hàng hoá hoặc dịch vụ. Nhưng Tổng thống Trump biết về rất nhiều lo ngại trước cách các công ty chúng ta bị đối xử khi vào thị trường Trung Quốc và sẽ xem xét lại việc này”, ông Spicer nói.
